I am so excited about my opportunity to talk about my Most Repurchased Skinare Products for this Beauty Spotlight Team special feature! Every two weeks, a Beauty Spotlight Team member is writing a post that features their most repurchased products. As I started thinking and pre-planning for my post, I realized that my most repurchased product were, hands-down, skincare items.
Why Repurchase Skincare Products?
Hmm...so, why is it that I seem to repurchase skincare items more than other product categories? Well, first of all, I think that I am extremely loyal to skincare items that I love. If something works for my sensitive and somewhat tempermental skin then it is obviously a keeper and something I do not want to be without! So, I believe I am very consistant and loyal with my skincare products. I mean, sure, I love to try new things. After all, I am a beauty blogger with a skincare focus! However, I always come back to my beloved favorites and repurchase them over and over again. I even often have back ups waiting in the wings for when my items run out.
My Skin:
Before diving into my Most Repurchased Skincare items, let me give you the low-down on my skin. I am in my early 40s and I have combination skin. So, anti-aging products are certainly must haves! I am lucky in that I only have very minor signs of aging: just some fine lines around my eyes and on my forehead that are honestly only apparent when my skin is a bit dehydrated. However, I am seriously interested in age prevention! Also, my skin is somewhat sensitive. So, I am looking for effective products that do not cause any sensitivity reactions. In addition, I am somewhat prone to breakouts in my t-zone area.

My skincare routine is constantly evolving. Being a beauty blogger with a genuine love for skincare, I am frequently trying out new products. Sure, I have my everyday favorites that almost always stay in my routine. However, after periods of product testing for my blog, I many times rotate these new items into my everyday routine. This was certainly the case for these new items from CeraVe! When I try out something new that I absolutely fall in love with, it ends up being a skincare staple!
So, what initially drew me to these new items from CeraVe? Well, as soon as I read about the NEW Skin Renewing Day Cream and realized that it contained Encapsulated Retinol, I couldn't wait to try it! I am a firm believer in the power of Retinol. It is one of the most researched and *proven* anti-aging skincare ingredients. It works. Typically, I use retinol about every/other night in my skincare routine. I am always looking for more ways to add in more retinol into my routine. An everyday sunscreen with Retinol is a perfect way to get in more Retinol on a daily basis!
My Skin:
Before diving deeper into the reviews, lets chat a bit more about my skin. I always find it helpful to know the background of a product reviewer. So, let me share a little bit. That way, you can interpret my skincare results better! I have combination skin. It is right now leaning towards normal to oily (in the t-zone). I am in my early 40s, but am happy to say that I certainly don't feel my age and often get mistaken as being much, much younger. I really attribute this not only to genetics, but also to my years of using good skincare! My only signs of aging seem to be some fine lines around my eyes (that are most noticable when my skin is a bit dehydrated) and slight fine lines on the sides of my mouth and forehead. Really, my lines are not very noticable. I am highly interested in age prevention and keeping any other signs of aging at bay. My skin is also a bit sensitive. I have to be careful of product selection so that I don't increase redness nor get sensitivity reaction or irritation bumps. My skin is also very fair and prone to sunburns. So, a higher daily SPF is my best friend! In addition to all of this, my skin is somewhat prone to breaking out on my chin area and around my nose (usually hormonal related or if I use a product that is too rich for my skin type).

Oooh! I love this scrub! The scent is so uplifting for a morning shower! It is such a unique product. It is a cleansing oil scrub. I honestly don't think I have ever tried a cleansing oil scrub before. I have tried cleansing oils, but not with scrub particles! It works really well as an exfoliator! The scrub granules are super-duper fine and do a fantastic job. The oil emulsifies when it comes in contact with water. It leaves me super soft and hydrated and smooth!

I really enjoy the texture of this body souffle! It is thick without being greasy. It spreads easily and sinks in quickly to your skin. I like following up the Exfoliating Cleansing Oil with this body souffle for the complete Passionfruit Agave experience. The fruity scent is really uplifting after a morning shower. I really enjoy this product. It leaves me smooth and hydrated!

I love using this product as the "final touch" in my hair care routine. This powerful, serum reconstructs splits ends in one use and binds them back together - even after contact with water. Apply a few drops onto towel-dried or dry ends, and leave in. You only need the tiniest amount of product to be effective. The texture of this product really is more of an oil that a serum. So, really just 1-2 drops is all I need to smooth down my rough ends. This product also leaves a really nice shine! This product retails for $31.99.

Oh, Dry Shampoo, what would I do without you, lol!?!? Seriously though, Dry Shampoo is my "secret" for getting one day longer out of a hair washing. Just spray this stuff at your roots and brush/comb out and you get instant freshness and some volume and lift. It instantly revitalizes hair, leaving hair luxuriously, silky and shiny. I really enjoy using this cream! The cream is very rich. The texture is a bit tacky at first. However, you just need to give it time to absorb and sink into the skin. Once it does, it leaves you feeling non-greasy. It immediately plumps up my skin and hydrates it. It leaves me feeling smooth and moisturized. I like using this cream at night since it is so rich. I think that this cream would work best for normal and normal-to-dry skin types. I think it is a perfect Winter skincare cream for my combination skin (however, I do think it might be too rich for me in the Summer when my skin is less dry).
