I was able to try out a coule items from the collection and I am totally obcessed with them! Plus, I will fully admit that with the dessert theme, I am totally getting hungry for sweets just writing this post, lol!

Bath Frosting Bath Milk Powder:

I have always loved the soothing benefits of milk baths. This powder gives you the moisturizing benefits of a milk bath plus a fantastic fragrance! Plus, the cute packaging sitting out on my tub...swoon!

Oooh! I love this scrub! The scent is so uplifting for a morning shower! It is such a unique product. It is a cleansing oil scrub. I honestly don't think I have ever tried a cleansing oil scrub before. I have tried cleansing oils, but not with scrub particles! It works really well as an exfoliator! The scrub granules are super-duper fine and do a fantastic job. The oil emulsifies when it comes in contact with water. It leaves me super soft and hydrated and smooth!

I really enjoy the texture of this body souffle! It is thick without being greasy. It spreads easily and sinks in quickly to your skin. I like following up the Exfoliating Cleansing Oil with this body souffle for the complete Passionfruit Agave experience. The fruity scent is really uplifting after a morning shower. I really enjoy this product. It leaves me smooth and hydrated!

Fab Fast Friday: Aveeno's Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash & Body Lotion

It is time for another edition of Fab Fast Friday! Fab Fast Friday is my "quickie" review series where I basically just let you guys know what I am using and loving lately. :) It is my way to give you the skinny scoop on some really awesome products! 

This week I am going to share with you a couple of my favorite shower and post-shower items: Aveeno's Positively Nourising Calming Body Wash & Body Lotion. 

As an Aveeno Ambassador, I am having such a great time exploring this brand! I feel like Aveeno is a great fit for my skin type: I have very sensitive skin...and these products are just so gentle and soothing! I honestly have yet to meet an Aveeno product that has not worked for my skin.

Aveeno's Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash and Body Lotion is formulated with Lavender and Chamomile. If you are not a fan of lavender, don't let that scare you off. These products do not have a typical lavender smell. These Positively Nourishing Calming formula products actually have quite a lovely and fresh soft fragrance (I think there is a hint of lavender...but, mostly it just smells "clean" to me).

I like using the Aveeno Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash on a body pouf in the shower. It cleanses my skin gently without over-drying or leaving my skin feeling stripped. My skin is just left feeling clean and soft. It works into a nice lather and rinses clean. My husband tends to use my shower products and has mentioned that he is a fan of this Body Wash, too! After my shower, I towel dry and then apply Aveeno's Positively Nourishing Calming Body Lotion. I apply this pretty much from the neck down: my arms, legs, torso, feet, etc! The scent certainly is soothing! The Body Lotion is thick and rich without being sticky or greasy. I massage it into my skin and it quickly absorbs. 

Have you tried this formula of Aveeno's Positively Nourishing products? What did you think? Even though I tried the "calming" formula, I must note that these are not just products for evening showers! I actually use them in the morning after my morning shower. There is also an "Energizing" formulation that I would love to try next (grapefruit and pomegranate). Has anyone tried that? How do you like it?

My Morning Beauty Routine with AmLactin and Contest!

My mornings are so busy...and they start early! I am a stay-at-home-Mom with an 8 month old baby boy and a 2 year old girl. With two little ones in diapers, there are many demands for my time and attention. With limited time, I need to use products that work quickly and effectively. I honestly do not have time to waste on products that don't perform. That is why I love using effective products like AmLactin. As I get older, my skin gets more and more dry. AmLactin is the solution for dry skin! My Morning Beauty Routine: A Typical Day:

First, I jump into the shower. I was my hair every/other day or every 3 days. I only go every 3 days when I simply don't have time in the mornings to wash/dry my hair. My shower time order of products/procedures: wash body with bar soap, wash hair, condition hair/or apply hair mask (let penetrate while I finish my shower), shave my legs, rinse conditioner/hair mask, wash body with body pouf and shower gel (yes, lol, I wash twice: must remove conditioner residue and I adore shower gel scents), wash face with cleanser and Konjac sponge, and finally...dry off!

As soon as I get out of the shower, I apply moisturizer. I am currently using and loving the range of products from AmLactin for body moisture. I find that these products are best when applied immediately after your shower while your skin is still damp (pat the skin dry with a towel and then apply).

Usually, it is just the basics: under eye concealer, a bit of powder foundation or a bb cream, blush, a sheer wash of nude or champagne eye shadow, mascara, and lip balm/gloss. At this point, the kids have probably woken up and it is time for breakfast! When I wash my hair (and let air dry), I often can't get to styling it until the baby goes down for his morning nap. Hey, I do what I can! ;) There is only so much time in the mornings, lol!

Shower gels and body scrubs are the workhorses in my daily beauty routine. They are, quite simply, the products that I go through the quickest and use up most frequently. Often, these everyday items are the "unsung heros" in an everyday routine. These products simply do their job (getting me clean and/or scrubbed) and they do it well. While maybe not as flashy as the newest innovative skincare item or as sought out as a trendy new palette, these everyday shower-time items totally deserve some blog love! 

As I mentioned, I go through a lot of shower and bath products. Today I want to share with you some really great stand-out bath and body products. As a super-busy stay-at-home Mom of a 6-month old and a 2 1/2 year old, my 5 minutes in the shower before they awake is my only "me time" of my day. I simply don't want to waste my precious morning shower with a so-so body product. I am looking for really great products that give me a mini "spa experience" right at home during shower time. It is that time of year...time to talk SPFs! Wearing SPF is a big deal for me. Not only do I have super fair skin and live in sunny Georgia, but also I have a family history of skin cancer and have lost a dear friend to Melanoma. I absolutely do not mess around when it comes to sun protection. I wear it every single day year-round. However, I really up my protection during the Spring/Summer and apply more often. 

As a beauty blogger with an interest in SPF, I have amassed a huge arsenal of sun protection. Plus, there is just so much available! So, I decided to share with you my current go-to picks in my sun protection rotation. No, I don't wear all of these every day. These are just the ones that I tend to reach for, in rotation, the most. I know that many of us have this delimma: you are in a rush to get ready and you don't have time to apply moisturizer and let it sink in before throwing on your clothes and heading out the door. The liquid-like lotion absorbs almost instantly and allows you to get dressed right away (you don't have to wait on "dry time"!). The lightweight lotion provides light hydration and leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. This is great for normal skin types and body skin that is not overly dry. I think that this formula will be ideal for Spring and Summer moisturization (as my skin is on the very dry side right now). The lotion feels somewhat "cooling" going on and will be a nice treat when the weather is a bit warmer. For now, I am using this lotion when I am in a super-hurry to get dressed. It really does allow you to get ready quicker! Plus, I absolutely adore the Coconut Milk & Orchid scent! It is just lovely!!!

I will fully admit to being a bit obsessed with The Body Shop! I have literally been a fan of this brand for almost 2 decades. Spring is here and Summer is just around the corner! What better time to make sure you are protected from the Sun? As a girl living in the deep South, I love spending my days outdoors this time of year. Some may not like the warm and Sunny weather...me? I adore it! However, I have super-duper fair skin. So, I need to always be protected to avoid burning. Even if you do not burn easily, you must protect yourself from the sun!!! Wearing a SPF daily is the #1 thing that you can do to prevent skin cancer when outdoors. Plus, you are preventing the aging effects of the Sun, too! 

Unfortunately, I am no stranger to Skin Cancer. My Dad literally has Carcinomas removed monthly. In addition, one of my dear friends, Joann, died at age 30 from Melanoma. The facts are undeniable: the Sun can be a killer. Losing Joann changed the way I view the sun. I literally do not go outside without Sunscreen. Also, I go to my dermatologist for annual full-body scans for signs of Cancer. Like my Dad and Joann, I also have experienced bad burns in the past with my fair skin. Hopefully my change in Sun protection habits will protect me.

Protect Yourself: Wear SPF!!!

Our environment is changing!!! UV exposure increases by about 33% for ever 20% ozone layer loss. The end result is about 33% more skin cancers! This is startling! We must be smart about the sun. Protect yourself daily by wearing SPF and seeking shade (or staying indoors) during peak sun hours. There is absolutely no excuse to not protect your skin.

Do you already have some sun damage?

Luckily, there are some products that can help! Retinol does wonders to repair the skin. Neutrogena has a Rapid Tone Repair line that is worth scoping out: Neutrogena's Rapid Tone Repair Night Moisturizer and Neutrogena's Rapid Tone Repair Day SPF 30. While I have not tried these products out yet, the Rapid Tone Day Moisturizer with SPF was included in my Sun Summit box. So, I am excited to try it out! :) Has anyone tried this yet? I would love to hear your thoughts!!!

Neutrogena Sun Summit: Box Opening!!!

Today I am going to preview some items that you might be seeing in upcoming reviews and posts here on Pammy Blogs Beauty! Some of these items I have actually tried and love already! So, I will be sure to share my thoughts on the items that I am already familiar with (and LOVE!).

Inside the Box:

• Neutrogena's Wet Skin Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50: This looks great! It is an Allure "Best of Beauty 2011" winner. This spray sunscreen is swim, humidity, and sweat resistant. This will be perfect for Summer days at the pool or beach. I am very partial to Spray Sunscreens. They are just so easy to apply!

• Neutrogena Beach Defense Water & Sun Barrier Lotion SPF 70: This is a new product from Neutrogena! It is formulated to defend against signs of water damage. It has a very high SPF that is perfect for the beach. Can't wait to use this on our next beach trip!!! 

• Neutrogena Wet Skin Kids Beach and Pool Sunscreen with SPF 45+: This is another brand new product from Neutrogena!!! This sunscreen can be applied to either wet or dry skin. This is absolutely perfect for those re-applications at the pool. I always want to reapply sunscreen to my daughter after she is in the pool. Now I do not have to wait until she is fully dry. What a great idea for a product! This is going to be so useful!!!

• Neutrogena's Pure & Free Baby Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 60+: Yippee!!! I love this Sunscreen! Actually, it has always been my sunscreen of choice for my baby girl and I have repurchased it many times over! I love that it contains naturally sourced sunscreen ingredients. I just feel better about putting non-chemical sunscreens on my baby's sweet skin. She has inherited my super-duper fair skin. So, I must keep her protected!

• Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen with SPF 85+: While I normally wear a moisturizer with SPF every day on my face, when I know I am going to be outdoors all day (like at the pool, lake, or beach) I wear a high SPF sunscreen on my face. I can't wait to try this! It promises a lightweight and clean feel and is water resistant up to 80 minutes (not like I ever get my face wet in the water anyways, lol!).

• Neutrogena's Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer with Sunscreen (SPF 50): This is a daily moisturizer with included SPF. I have actually used the Healthy Defense line in the past but it was years ago (and I don't recall the SPF being that high back then?). Anyways, I recall liking this moisturizer. So, I am excited to re-familiarize myself with it. Plus, an SPF of 50 for everyday use? That is brilliant! Especially for those of us living in a warm and sunny climate. 

• Neutrogena's Rapid Tone Repair Moisturizer with SPF 30: Like I mentioned earlier, this new product can help to repair past damage while also protecting you from further damage. It contains both Retinol and Vit C! Looking forward to trying this out! If you need to wear an SPF every day, you might as well wear one with retinol! You can repair your skin and fight aging while getting your daily dose of sun protection. :)

• Neutrogena's Healthy Skin Compact Makeup with SPF 55: Ooooh! I so totally want to try this but the shade they sent is too dark for me. Looks like my Mom will get to test this one out first. :) I love the idea of a daily makeup that has such a high SPF!!!

• Neutrogena's NEW Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser: Yipee!!! *doing a happy dance* This is my hands-down favorite cleanser!!! Actually, I reviewed this a couple month's ago and even included it in my Desert Island post (top 12 items I can't live without). This is such a gentle cleanser! It rinses clean and has such a soft and lovely smell. If you are looking for a great gel-based cleanser. I totally recommend this one! :)

• Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes in Pink Grapefruit (for acne-prone skin): I am so excited to try these!!! My combo skin gets much more oily in the Summer (and I become more prone to breakouts). These cleansing wipes look promising!
