It is time for Top 10 Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a bi-weekly collaborative blog series where my blogger friends and I post our Top 10 lists for a per-selected category. This week we are sharing our Top 10 Products for Summertime Foot Care! I am so excited about this topic because taking care of my feet in the Summers is something I really spend a lot of time and attention on. Summer is the time for pretty pedicure polish, flip flops, bare feet, and yes....callouses (ugh!!!). If I am going to bare my feet in sandals/flip flops, then I really want my feet looking cute.

Rough skin is just cringe-worthy and I do my best to avoid it at all costs! Fighting callouses and rough/dry skin on my feet is a constant battle. Going barefoot and wearing flip flops seems to really dry out my feet. Plus, exposure to the drying chlorine in the neighborhood pool and YMCA does not help either.  I need not only moisture, but also products that fight rough/hard skin. So, for this post, I am going to focus on my current Top 10 Products for Summer Foot Care with an emphasis on moisturization. 

I am always excited to try out new products for foot care. I have a few products that I come back to again and again, but also I equally love trying new things! Pampering my feet is something that I don't mind spending a few extra minutes on every day. For some reason, and I am going to sound like a total dork, but I just feel cuter overall if my feet are looking smooth and my toenails are polished. Before I had kids, I got a pedicure every other week. Well, I certainly don't have the time, nor want to spend the money on going to a nail salon for that anymore. So, I am perfectly happy pampering my piggies (lol, this is what my 2-year old daughter calls toes) at home!

It is time for another Makeup War!!! After taking a blogging break for a few weeks during my move (hope you have enjoyed all of the pre-scheduled posts!) it is so fun to dive back into a Makeup War! I have missed this!!!

What are Makeup Wars?

Before sharing my favorite peach/coral makeup item, let me tell you a little bit about Makeup Wars in general. The Makeup Wars Bloggers are a group of top beauty bloggers that publish coordinated bi-weekly posts. The Makeup Wars bloggers collectively pick topics to blog about (e.g., Top 10 Products, Beauty Pampering, etc). Julep Maven July 2012 "Boho Glam" : Box Opening!

I am falling more "in love" with my Julep Maven subscription every month! I really adore this months box!!!

In honor of the 4th of July, Julep sent out a spectacular patriotic-themed July Julep Maven box!!! Not only was the packaging cute and festive (as usual), but also Julep sent out an additional limited-edition bonus polish "America the Beautiful"!!! This patriotic polish is perfect for my 4th of July manicure with its red shade and silver and blue stars and glitter! What a nice addition to the box! Julep totally spoiled me this month with a fabulous box!!!

Subscribing to Julep Maven: The Monthly Nail-Lovers Beauty Box!!!

Without going into too much detail, lets talk the basics of the Julep Maven program:

• For $20.00 per month, you get a beautifully packaged Julep Maven box! Yes, this is more than many $10/month subscriptions. But, remember, you are getting *full sized* products with Julep!
• Typically the box is 2 full sized nail polishes plus one full sized product.

Pammy Loves Products! June Favorites and Monthly Reflections

I am going to try something different with my Monthly Favorites Posts! Ya'll let me know what you think! :)

I want to open it up each month with a "Monthly Reflection". This will just be my non-beauty related musing on life at the moment. If you want to skip my musings and get right to my top-product picks, please just skip over my ramblings and jump the page break to get directly to my top products list (and check out the cute new "list" graphic! Whatever is going on in my life always segues into my beauty needs! Having a hectic month? I need quick and easy beauty products! In the mood for self-pampering? You might see a lot of body products that month. Is there a change of season? Then I will shake-up my beauty routine too. For me, my beauty products are always refelctive of what is happening in my life. Some months I shop more...and have more new products to try. Sometimes a new season will hit, and I will have access to new makeup collections and samples. You just never know!

There is one constant: My beauty routine is always changing! Beauty routines really are "fluid": they change and evolve as we do.

Monthly Reflections:
I know that having a young baby at home makes time go by on warp speed. I mean, last year at this time I was busy with nursery preparations, baby classes, and baby showers. Now I have a 6-month old? That is just crazy-pants! She is growing so fast. Awwhhhh!!!!

Motherhood is the most amazing journey I have ever been on. Every day is a new experience or a first. I feel very lucky and blessed to be experiencing the art of Motherhood. I know that it is a state-of-being that will take a lifetime to perfect.

Another Year Older:
As I write this post, I am on the eve of yet another Birthday. Another year has gone by. I can't even believe that I am in my (cough) late 30s! Sometimes I can't believe it because I still feel like I am 15 on the inside. But other times, I feel old as the hills! LOL! There is one thing that is for certain, this past year has been the most amazing of my life with the birth of my first daughter! There is no question that I feel lucky and blessed to have this beautiful child in my life. While I get older ever day, I realize that, in many ways, my life is just beginning. I am only at the beginning of my long journey as a Mom. It is a dream come true for me!

Lets Talk Products!

So, those are my musings for the month of June! Now, lets talk products!!! June has been a great month for favorites! Some of the items on my list are repeats from previous months (there is a particular item from Pixi that I am particularly obcessed with!) and some items are new products that I either purchased or fell in love with while testing for review. Either way, these products are all flippin great!

Julep Maven June 2012: Classic With a Twist

It is time for my monthly Julep Maven box opening! I have been a Julep Maven subscriber for a few months now and I must say, these boxes are consistently great! Since you are able to choose your box with Maven, I already knew what was coming. So, I am super excited to get this box!!! While I know what is inside, they also send some "extras" which are a surprise.

How Julep Maven Works:
In a nutshell, Julep Maven is a monthly beauty box subscription. Unlike other Beauty Box subscriptions, the products included in the Julep Maven boxes are all full sized products. The Julep Maven boxes have a "nail" theme and contain Julep nail polishes and Julep spa products. As ya'll know, there are just so many monthly beauty boxes available now! Julep continues to be a stand-out in the beauty-box market.

The Julep Maven boxes are a bit different.
First of all, they are not "sample" boxes: The products are full sized! Also, with Julep Maven boxes being a box of full sized products, you do pay more: $20.00 per month. What else is different? Since Julep is a Nail Polish/Nail Care company, the boxes all contain nail polish, nail care tools, and nails or hands/feet products. If you are a polish lover, there is no question that you would enjoy the Julep Maven Boxes!

Choose the box you want!
You get choice with your Julep Maven subscription. When you sign up, you complete a style quiz/profile. Your box is based on your results. My quiz revealed "Classic with a Twist". The cool thing? Julep posts and emails what is going to be in each themed box every month. If you do not want or need the items in your box theme category for the month, you simply select the box that you do want from another theme(or opt out for the month). So far, I have gotten "Boho Glam" boxes and "American Beauty" boxes. It was so quick and easy to select another box.

Yes, you pay a bit more for the Julep Maven subscription at $19.99 monthly; but, what a great value in each box! Their polishes retail for $14.00. So, the value is clear! You get over $40 value of products in each box. Plus, if you want to place an order on their site, you get an automatic 20% off plus free shipping.What else is great? Your polishes are all on-trend and selected for you based on your style-profile (and, like I mentioned, you can always switch your style month-to-month). There is not "getting a bad/dud box" because you know what the box is before it ships out. If you don't like any of the options, skip the month.
