Beautiful Blush from Osmosis + Colour:

You guys know that I just LOVE blush, right? Well, I was super pumped to try out these gorgeous blushes from one of my favorite skincare lines Osmosis. Yes, Osmosis is more than just skincare! Yes, they have makeup, too. 

Osmosis is a brand that I really trust for skincare. They have a very different approach to skincare. They are all about treating the health of the skin naturally with a big focus being on Vitamin-based skincare. I already trust their skincare and have had great results with it. So, it is just a natural extension for me to explore their makeup line. Think about it, your makeup sits on your face all day. So, I want my makeup to have good ingredients, too.

Key Ingredient: Morninga
The powerhouse key ingredient in Osmosis's blush formula is Morninga. What is Moringa exactly? Here is what Osmosis has to say: Meet moringa, a nutrient-rich super green known for its holistic power to fight inflammation both internally and topically. This protein-packed green contains even more nutrients than kale, infusing the skin with vitamins and antioxidants. Originally grown from trees in India, Africa, and South American regions, moringa is rich in protein, calcium, iron, and vitamins like vitamin C, E, and A. This beauty boosting superfood is a multi-tasker, helping to clear skin of acne and keep wrinkles at bay.

Osmosis Colour Blushes: 
These gorgeous blushes come in nine different shades. They feature a light radiance and a matte finish. I got to try out the shades Poppy, Spring Crush, Summer Rose, Plum Blossom, Pink Pearl and Tulip. These blushes really are lovely. I like the slim/small packaging. The blush powder is densly pigmented and soft. I find that these wear well and never break me out.

Who else is tired Winter? lol! I know that I sure am. Well, Pixi beauty has such a beautiful lineup of products to get you inspired for glowing skin and makeup for the upcoming warmer months ahead. Let's dive right in to talking about some of my recent favorites from Pixi! :)

Pixiglow Cake 3-in-1 Luminous Transition Powder:

You guys might remember that I have a bit of a thing for blush. Well, I just about swooned when I first saw these *huge* Pixiglow Cakes! These light diffusing cheek powders can give you gorgeous contouring, color, and highlight depending on where you place your brush on your pan and on your face. You can use via solo swipes or swirl all together to customize your own beautiful look. The powder is soft and blendable which makes it super easy to apply. It reflects light subtly. So, you don't have to worry about being too shiny or sparkly with these. Plus, they are packed with good-for-your-skin ingredients like plumping peptides and grape seed extract. There are two shades. One is more of a peach and one is more of a pink. :) 

Liquid Fairy Lights:

These are long-wearing liquid glittery eyeshadows. They are gorgeous!!! These are super easy to apply. You literally just swipe these on your lids and you are all set. I got to try out a couple shades: Crystalline (a shimmery white) and BareBrilliance (a light taupey brown). I adore these and really want to try out more shades. There are 7 shades total. Plus, they are infused with chamomile and rose extracts to soothe and hydrate your skin. 

Pixi Skintreats Rose Ceramide Cream Intensive Moisturizer: 

Oooooh! I just love Ceramide in my skincare products. As I *cough* age, I am becoming more and more concious and selective of my skincare and the ingredients in said skincare. I have learned that Ceramides are one of the best ingredients that you can have to hydrate and renew the skin. Moisturizers with Ceramides in them just seem to work better! This ultra-rich cream from Pixi Skintreats is infused with both Ceramides and Rose Oil to give your skin a great look and feel. Plus, it is antioxidant rich to help protect your skin as well. This feels so nourishing on my Winter-dry skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and balanced.

This microfine powder wears over either liquid or powder foundation. I typically only wear a light dusting of powder foundation over strategically placed concealer.

Shades:

I got to try out a mix of matte and sheen shades: Sangria, Chai, Pomegranate, Rose, and Ginger. They are all so beautiful that it is hard to pick a favorite! I am finding that I am reaching for Rose the most and also Ginger and Chai. For Pomegranate and Sangria, I need to use a lighter hand as these shades are bolder and pack more pigment.

Laura Mercier's Application Tips:

Before applying powder blush, always set skin first with Translucent Powder for the most even and smooth application. Pick up product with the Cheek Colour Brush or Angled Cheek Colour Brush. Desaturate the colour on the back of your hand to distribute pigment evenly through bristles. Apply to apples of cheeks in a soft, sweeping, circular motion and blend for an even and sheer application. For a bold look, release more blush colour by gently tapping the bristles on cheeks, or re-prep the brush and repeat application. Focus on the center of the apple and build the colour to the intensity you desire.

The blush, bronzer, and shadows are super pigmented and long lasting! The pop of pink from the blush is just beautiful! I love the neutral shadows. They are so wearable and have just the right amount of shimmer.

What a unique product! Honestly, I have never tried anything quite like it. This is a loose powder color pigment...for the lips!

Glowing Goddess Luminizer with Brush:

This pretty duo contains a Glowing Goddess Luminizer (in a universal glowing shade) and Blush & Bronzer Brush. Gold toned highlighters are so on-trend right now. So, this is a perfect addition to my makeup routine. I love the pop of glow that this adds to my cheeks. I like to add this highlighter as the final step to my makeup routine. Plus, the brush is just the perfect size to add a sweep of glow to the top of my cheekbones, my browbones, nose, and chin. I tend to hit all of those spots for an all-over, yet sculpted, glow! This highlighter can be super glittery. So, be sure to use a light hand when you apply.

These creamy and chubby sticks work beautifully together to give beautiful rosey cheek color, deep contours, and a pop of glowy highlight. I find these super easy to use. Just swipe them on, blend in with fingers, and you are all set!

Mally's secret to getting in shape? This set of three face-shaping crayons! Featuring a weightless, creamy, super-blendable formula, the Shimmer, Shape & Go Highlight & Contour trio reveals the secret to easy contouring and highlighting.
