Summer is in full swing! That means the weather is hot and shorts, swimwear, sandals, and sundresses are a weekly staple. Skin is exposed to the sun and the water. It is time to pamper your skin so that you can look your best in your summer wear.

As a busy Mom with two little ones who works part time, I have very little time in the mornings to get ready. I am constantly looking for ways to trim down and streamline my morning routine so that I can get the kids ready and out the door faster. Yes, you know, that time in between applying moisturizer all over your body and then allowing it enough time to absorb before getting dressed. Sure, some moisturizers absorb quicker and leave less of a greasy feel. However, with my dry/sensitive skin, I tend to gravitate more towards super rich moisturizers, creams, and body butters that tend to take longer to absorb and feel greasier. So, what is a girl to do? I don't want to skimp on moisturizers, skip moisturizers, or use moisturizers that feel lighter yet don't work as well.

Enter Jergen's Wet Skin Moisturizer...this product has literally revolutionized my morning routine!!! With Jergen's Wet Skin Moisturizer, you get a super rich moisturizing product that leaves your skin soft and hydrated. They trick with this product? You apply it in the shower. How is your skin feeling today? If you are like me, you are battling terrible Winter-dry skin...and the worst area, my hands! I am somewhat new to cleansing balms and am really loving the whole concept of cleansing with a balm. It is different...but, it is so good for your skin! To use, just apply to dry skin and massage it in a circular motion. Then rinse with warm water and wipe off with a damp washcloth. This product leaves my skin nicely cleansed and super soft! 

Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Lotion: 

Body lotion is an everyday must for me. I go through bottles and bottles of lotion on a constant basis. So, I am always happy to add a new one to my routine. I just apply this lotion after the shower all over for awesome softness and moisturization. The scent is so amazing!

As much as I would love to head to the spa every time I want to relax, I do not have the time nor the budget to hit the spa on a whim. What I can do is to turn my bathroom into my own little luxury spa! The trick? Indulging in amazing bath & body products. The great news is that you can do this on a budget! My current love for my own home spa retreat is the new Eucalyptus & Mint collection from The Healing Garden!

I prefer to "match scents" when using bath and body products and doing a Home Spa experience. So, start-to-finish and head-to-toe, I love being able to use coordinating products. Have ya'll had the chance to try c.Booth products, yet? If not, be sure to scope out this line next time you are at Target! My husband and I are both such a fan of this line of bath and body products.   

In addition to now being available at Target, c.Booth has also launched some NEW products and has revealed their new packaging! From the new product assortment, I had the chance to try a few products...and, of course, I loved everything that I tried. 

Honey Almond FIRMING Body Lotion:
Applying lotion to my entire body after my morning shower is a daily ritual. I certainly go through a lot of moisturizer at my house! My favorite thing to do is to apply a firming body lotion to my legs and give my legs a vigorous massage. I really do think that it helps to firm and tighten the skin and gives your circulation a nice boost! I really love the slightly sweet almond scent of the Honey Almond Firming Body Lotion from c.Booth. The lotion itself is lightweight and quick-absorbing. It leaves a light natural sheen and it makes my legs feel super soft and smooth.

Rosemary & Mint Bath, Shower, and Hair Wash:
Mint scents are so exhilarating when you are taking an early morning shower! This Bath, Shower, and Hair wash is such a pleasure to use. My husband uses it for everything: hair and body while I prefer to just use it as a body wash. I adore the scent and totally recommend it if you like minty washes.

Body Lotion: Coconut Vanilla and Peppermint Vanilla:
I am kinda obsessed with Vanilla-based scents. These two scents (Peppermint Vanilla and Coconut Vanilla) combine vanilla with the sweet yumminess of fig and the refreshing coolness of peppermint. I am absolutely thrilled that I can now find a Fig scent within a drugstore/affordable body lotion! I often wear a Fig fragrance and I really like to coordinate scents. So, now whenever I wear my Fig perfume, I use this body lotion, too! I think that the Peppermint Vanilla pairs very well with the Rosemary & Mint Body Wash for an all-around mintyness that I love! These body lotions leave my skin nicely hydrated and scented!

Today's theme is all about transitioning my body skincare from my "lighter" Summer products, to my more hydrating, richer, and sometimes even heavy moisturizers for Fall and Winter! Ok...So, I will admit...it is not *that cold* yet. However, as my husband always likes to remind me, I have a "2 degree" comfort range. So, even when that temp just drops a bit, its "cold" to me, lol! I have sensitive skin that gets dry in in the colder seasons. So, lets start bringing on those super hydrating products! I need them and crave them when my skin is dry. Plus, really, it is a great idea to be proactive! Start moisturizing now before it is literally freezing! :)

Today's post was inspired by three lovely tubes that I love reaching for lately: Lancome's Nutrix Royal Body, Aveeno's Positively Ageless Firming Body Lotion, and emerginC Scientific Oraganics Grape Stem Cell, White Tea + Seaweed Body Butter. The Lancome Nutrix Royal Body lives on my nightstand for my going to bed moisture ritual and the Aveeno Positively Ageless and emerginC reside right next to my shower for immediate application after my morning showers. So, these three are my current body skincare staples!

Fab Fast Friday: Aveeno's Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash & Body Lotion

It is time for another edition of Fab Fast Friday! Fab Fast Friday is my "quickie" review series where I basically just let you guys know what I am using and loving lately. :) It is my way to give you the skinny scoop on some really awesome products! 

This week I am going to share with you a couple of my favorite shower and post-shower items: Aveeno's Positively Nourising Calming Body Wash & Body Lotion. 

As an Aveeno Ambassador, I am having such a great time exploring this brand! I feel like Aveeno is a great fit for my skin type: I have very sensitive skin...and these products are just so gentle and soothing! I honestly have yet to meet an Aveeno product that has not worked for my skin.

Aveeno's Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash and Body Lotion is formulated with Lavender and Chamomile. If you are not a fan of lavender, don't let that scare you off. These products do not have a typical lavender smell. These Positively Nourishing Calming formula products actually have quite a lovely and fresh soft fragrance (I think there is a hint of lavender...but, mostly it just smells "clean" to me).

I like using the Aveeno Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash on a body pouf in the shower. It cleanses my skin gently without over-drying or leaving my skin feeling stripped. My skin is just left feeling clean and soft. It works into a nice lather and rinses clean. My husband tends to use my shower products and has mentioned that he is a fan of this Body Wash, too! After my shower, I towel dry and then apply Aveeno's Positively Nourishing Calming Body Lotion. I apply this pretty much from the neck down: my arms, legs, torso, feet, etc! The scent certainly is soothing! The Body Lotion is thick and rich without being sticky or greasy. I massage it into my skin and it quickly absorbs. 

Have you tried this formula of Aveeno's Positively Nourishing products? What did you think? Even though I tried the "calming" formula, I must note that these are not just products for evening showers! I actually use them in the morning after my morning shower. There is also an "Energizing" formulation that I would love to try next (grapefruit and pomegranate). Has anyone tried that? How do you like it?

My Home Spa: The Body Shop's Wild Argan Oil Bath & Body Collection

I am a bath person. Especially this time of year! Nothing beats a soak in the tub for a little bit of relaxation before bed. While I will fully admit that many times I am too tired in the evening for a bath. When I do motivate to take one, I am never sorry! Using decadent bath and body products is my little treat to myself. This is how I indulge and self-pamper. So, I just love exploring new bath and body products...such great bath motivation! ;) 

The Body Shop is one of my long-time favorite stores. It has long been a go-to for me for not only bath products but also skincare, makeup, and fragrance! So, I am super excited to try out their new Wild Argan Oil product range! 

Fair Trade Argan Oil:
Argan Oil has been used for centuries in Morocco. It is their beauty secret for conditioned hair and fabulous skin.

The Harvest: 
Even the process of extracting the Argan oil is an age-old tradition. First, the fruits are sun-dried and then the nuts are hand-cracked open. Then the kernals are pressed and are slowly filtered over 48 hours to extract the purest oil possible for the Body Shop's products. The result? A truly high-quality Argan oil goes into the products!

The Body Shop uses Fair-Trade organic Argan oil hand- harvested by Berber tribe women in Southeast Morocco (the remote Atlas Mountains). This trade supports rural agricultural communities in Morocco rather than using large city factories. This partnership is through the Tangarine Cooperative which strives to raise the standard of living for the Berber women in Morocco. Pretty cool, right?

This line has such a beautiful and unique scent! The Body Shop's Wild Argan scent is hard to describe: it is a soft and comforting scent. To me, the Wild Argan scent is rich and feminine with hints of almond and musk and a slight hint of powder. It is a scent that I really enjoy wearing. So much so that I wish that it came in a body mist or eau de toilette! I would totally wear this as my everyday fragrance!

It is time for another "Top Ten Tuesday" post! This week we are posting our top 10 Products to "Get Your Glow On (and keep your glow on!).

For those of you new to this series, here is the scoop: 
Every/other Tuesday all of the bloggers in the Top Ten Tuesdays blogging group (a collection of top beauty bloggers) posts a Top Ten list. Then we link to each other's posts so that you readers can scroll through all our blogs reading our top 10 picks for the week's topic. As a list enthusiast, I love reading through all the Top Ten Tuesday Bloggers' posts making my own beauty wishlist! This is a great way to find out about products that really work. Plus, it is always interesting to see what products make multiple bloggers lists. Those are the true gems!

Top Ten: Products to Get Your Glow On! with Burt's Bees, Physician's Formula, Revlon

So, here it is ya'll: My Top 10 Products to "Get Your Glow On"! Note: this list is in no particular order

1.  Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder: Favorite High End Bronzer in 01 Bronze and Honorable Mention Highligher in Highlight 01. The shade 01 gives my super fair skin a warm, matte, bronze glow. The Highlighter gives a subtle golden sheen without being overly sparkly. I love the texture of these powders! The long-wearing formula last all day!

2. Dior Diorskin Ultra Shimmering AllOver Face Powder in Amber Diamond: This is, hands-down, my Holy Grail High End Highlighter. The shimmer is so finely milled! This product gives your skin the most amazing glow ever!!! Plus, you can use the shades separately as eye shadow. It is super expensive; but, it is worth every penny!

3. Beautisol Tea Tan Glow: I adore this mousse body bronzer. It gives you a lovely hint of a tan by tinting your skin with tea extracts. It smells lovely and the color does not rub off on your clothes. You can use this on its own or layer it over self-tanner for a deeper bronze glow.

4. Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer: This is my go-to gradual tanner. It is just so easy to use! Their new formulation diminishes self-tanning odor. I apply this most days to my legs after showering and shaving (and every few days on my whole body).

5. Neutrogena's Micro Mist Airbrush Sunless Tan: This tanner is incredibly easy to apply. After exfoliating, simply mist this spray over your body. Easy-peasy!!! The spray works from any angle.

6. Kate Somerville Somerville360 Tan Maximizer: This tan-enhancing moisturizer combats the dryness that goes hand-in-hand with tanning (sunless tan or sun exposure). It is formulated with powerhouse peptides, lipids, natural oils, and butters to hydrate and condition your skin. Use after tanning as well as a few days before expected self-tanning or sun exposure.

7. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs: This is a lotion-based leg makeup! I am a long-time user of the spray version of this product (which I used to mix with lotion to aid in application). Well, now it comes in a lotion form that is much easier to apply. It gives your skin a hint of color and disguises imperfections. Mostly, it makes me feel more confident when baring my fair skin in short skirts! While not an everyday use product for me, I love using this before a night out.

8. Revlon Photoready Bronzer: This matte bronzer is my current favorite drugstore bronzer. I love that you can adjust the color depending on how you sweep your brush across the four shades. With my fair skin, I tend to stick to the lightest two colors.

9. Physician's Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Powder (in Translucent): This glow powder is my favorite drugstore "highlighter". It is a slightly-pearly complexion boosting powder. You can either dust a little bit all over, or do what I do: apply to top of cheekbones, brow, and chin. I love the subtle glow and the impact on your bone structure. While not quite as shimmery as Dior's Amber Diamond, it is a pretty decent drugstore dupe.

10. Burt's Bees Radiance Body Lotion: This lightly hydrating body lotion packs a beautiful shimmer! I adore using this on my legs, arms, and all exposed skin areas. The shimmer detracts from flaws and gives your skin an extra oomph of glow!
