OSEA Skincare: Ocean. Sun. Earth. Atmosphere.

Hello my dear readers!

It is time for another skincare review! As much as I love wearing, testing, and reviewing makeup (can you tell, lol!), I must say one of my first loves is skincare. We all know that a good skincare routine is the foundation of a good beauty routine.

Reviewing skincare is a lengthy process. I test out skincare items for an extended period of time to see results, check for skin sensitivities and reactions, and to just get a good feel for what it is like to really use the product. Because of my sensitive skin, I add new products in one-by-one to better evaluate them. I just love diving into a new line to discover what they have to offer. Product testing is very fun for me! The experience is even better when I discover a wonderful brand like OSEA.

OSEA Skincare:
OSEA (Ocean. Sun. Earth. Atmosphere.) strives to create quality products that are both pure and effective. OSEA's ocean themed brand is infused with organic and marine-based ingredients. These luxury products evoke a spa-like experience. As a perennial lover of the ocean, this eco-friendly brand's image and feel are very appealing.

June 2011 Star Products: June Favorites!

Hello Dolls!

Do you lighten up on your makeup in the summers? I sure do! With the warm summer weather and lazy summer days, I find that I have been using minimal makeup and products this past month. When I apply makeup in the summer, I do so with a much lighter hand. I often skip entire product categories like lipstick and eyeliner and opt for a more natural look.

Even my hair gets a "break" in the summer. I find myself throwing my hair into a ponytail or a bun on most days just to get it off my neck during this heat. So, I lighten up on the hair styling products, too. I am all about "the basics" in the summer.

So, This is my monthly Star Products post (a few days late, oops!). Basically, my Star Products are my current favorite products or the products that I have reached for consistently over the past month. I love reading these types of posts on other blogs or watching Monthly Favorites videos on YouTube. So, I love sharing my favorites with ya'll too! For previous Star Products posts, see January Star Products, Feb Star Products, March Star Products, April Star Products, and May Star Products.

Cover Girl Intense Shadow Blast Primer + Rich Shadow (review)

Hey dolls!

I am so excited about about this new product from Cover Girl! Cover Girl Intense Shadow Blast Primer + Rich Shadow is a cream shadow and eyeshadow base/primer in one! I *heart* dual purpose products!
Also, I love the idea of finding a decent eyeshadow primer at the drugstore! Not to mention loving the price! I got these Intense Shadow Blasts on a BOGO 1/2 off sale (and I used a manufacturer's coupon). So, I purchased both of these for a total of about $6.00. Can't beat that with a stick!

I am sure you are wondering...how does this product hold up? It is truly good for both intended purposes? How is the pigmentation? Well, keep reading after the jump for a full review, swatches, and more photos!
