Have you seen Porenza Schouler's first fine fragrance? This amazing scent launched this year and I just love it. This inspired-by-nature floral scent will certainly capture you! I was instantly captivated by this desert-inspired scent. 

Thinking of Arizona evokes images of the great outdoors. A world with adventure, nature, and sunshine. This vision is the perfect backdrop for the strong, smart, and sophisticated Proenza Schouler women who is all of these things but also is beautifully natural and somewhat undone.

Proenza Schouler Arizona:

Arizona is a radiant and blooming floral scent, with a unique mineral signature.

The two notes that are at the very heart of the fragrance are creamy orris and white cactus flower. The white cactus flower is the rarest of desert flowers and it only blooms about once a year. It has never been captured in a perfume before! New technologies allow it to be captured without harming nature. Orris has a long history in perfumes which dates back to the 16th century. So, this Arizona scent is unique in that it captures both the old and the new and melds them together into a beautiful masterpiece. 

The heart notes are the white cactus flower combined with jasmine absolute, orange flower absolute and a solar accord. The orris cream is added to music and cashmere for a textured creamy woody veil.

I really enjoy this earthy floral scent. It is floral and feminine but also slightly sweet while still being light. There is a freshness to this scent that makes it nice even in the warmer weather (and we sure get a lot of that weather here in the South!). It is not at all overpowering. I like it primarily for a daytime scent. However, I can see this being worn through the evening as well. 

Something about the bottle and packaging does remind me of Arizona and the desert. The box is like a desert horizon and the bottle is almost a bit shaped like the state of Arizona itself. Apparently, the bottle design was inspired by the ravines and ridges that define the horizon of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. I can totally see this when I look at the beautiful bottle.

You can wear the scent as the Eau de Parfum, A Body Lotion, or a Shower Oil. You can wear them separately or layer your fragrance by using all three. For a fantastic luxurious gift, you can combine them all and really spoil someone you love with this beautiful scent!

I really enjoy wearing this beautiful scent from Proenza Schouler! Arizona is unique and memorable. Be sure to check this one out!

Do you pack your beauty-stuff for the gym? I always tuck a small bag of beauty essentials into my gym bag just in case I need to touch up after my workout. Often my gym days are my errand days. So, I frequently find myself out most of the day after the gym. So, packing beauty essentials is a must!

Tweezerman is my go-to brand for tweezers and honestly the only tweezers that I use. Seriously, they are that good. You will have to look no further after trying Tweezerman tweezers. They are high quality and extremely effective for all of your plucking needs. I was "blessed" with very generous brows. So, I am always plucking a stray hair. The Tweezerman Mini Slant Tweezers are my favorite tweezer shape. They are super easy to use and are perfect for those stray hairs! I love that the complexion cleansing brush has a pop on case/lid. It keeps the brush clean and fresh! Now, I don't typically wash my face at the gym...but, I know a lot of people do. So, it makes sense that it is in this kit. I am probably going to use this brush more at home. I am new to the Mini Precision Folding Razor. What a handy little razor! I shave the stray hairs on my chin and lip. I was actually encouraged to do this by my dermatologist. I have a lot of stray hairs in that area and discovered that I was prone to ingrown hairs when I plucked that area. So, my dermatologist suggested shaving instead. This little folding razor will be perfect for that! Also, I just LOVE the water bottle. It is the perfect size and I love taking water bottles to the gym that totally seal and don't leak!

This year, I tried out the Divine Collection and the Shea Butter Collection. These are already two of my favorite lines from L'Occitane! So, I got to explore products that I already loved within these boxes as well as finding new products to love. The collections come beautifully boxed and wrapped. There is no question, if you are ordering online, you don't even need to wrap these beautiful sets. The boxes are Gold and Gold with floral print. They come with a ribbon and tissue inside and even a coupon for additional purchases. 

I am going to give my Mom the Shea Butter Collection this year. She has often told me about how much she loves using Shea Butter products after her baths in the evenings. So, I think this set will be perfect for her! In this set she will get a HUGE jar of Ultra Rich Shea Butter Body Cream as well as Shea Butter Hand Cream, a bar soap, a foot cream, and a lip balm. She can literally drench herself from head-to-toe in the decadent luxury of soothing and moisturizing Shea Butter! Plus, can I just mention that I adore the scent of these products! 

The Divine Collection is a skincare lovers dream collection! I already mentioned that I am a huge fan of the Divine Collection products as a whole. Such a great skincare line! So, I am super excited that this set contains some of my L'Occitane faves like the Divine Eyes and Divine Cream. Plus, I am excited to try out the Cleansing Foam and the Divine Lotion as well. I will fully admit, this set is for me! This is my Mother's Day treat to myself. :)
