For the love of grapes! Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser and Toning Lotion

Who else changes up their skincare routine with the change of seasons? If you want to try refreshing skincare for Spring/Summer, then you might really like this Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser and Caudalie Toning Lotion.

Not familiar with Caudalie? Check out my previous posts for a Brand Introduction and Vine Body Butter review and reviews on Vinosource Quenching Sorbet Creme and Vinexpert Firming Serum.
There are so many things that intrigue me about the Caudalie brand. As a wine lover and the wife of a wine specialist and beverage distributor, Caudalie's philosophy of using the entire grape plant within their skincare range is totally appealing. As we all know, wine can be beneficial when consumed (in moderation of course) because of  the antioxidant properties within the grape. Well, Caudalie utilizes these antioxidants in their products to benefit your skin. Caudalie skincare is elegant and sophisticated. A total pleasure to use!

My Skintype:
In the colder months my skin is dry. But, as it gets warmer, my skin shifts more towards normal with oiliness in the t-zone area. My skin is also very sensitive. I have to test out skincare slowly to check for any reactions. Typically, I have very few breakouts. But, on occasion, I experience hormonal breakouts on my chin, nose, or forehead. I am in my 30's, but do not have any major lines or wrinkles yet. But, when my skin is dehydrated, I do have some very fine lines in the eye area. My biggest skincare concerns are very dark under eye circles and skin sensitivity. I am always in the search for gentle, yet effective, skincare that packs in some anti aging benefits, does not cause irritation, and leaves my skin feeling hydrated.

Bic's Simply Soleil Razors: Review

Hello beauties! Do you want smooth legs for summer?

With the warm summer weather our shorts and skirts just get shorter. Right? Well, mine do! ;) So, I need a close shave every morning to keep my legs smooth.

I am unfortunately "blessed" with quick growing leg stubble and a tendency towards ingrown hairs. Per my dermatologist's instructions, I am to shave my legs daily to avoid ingrown hairs. On top of that, I have sensitive skin. So, I need razors that are both gentle as well as effective. I also want to minimize my time spent shaving my legs. This can add quite a few minutes to the morning shower. So, I want my razors to work well and quickly.

May 2011 Star Products

Hello my lovely readers!

Well, it is that time again. Time to post my favorite products of the month!

I strive to pick total stand-out products or "Star Products". Typically, these are products that I have found myself reaching for over-and-over again during the past month. So, these are truly items that I am totally loving and currently using all the time!

I adore watching my fellow bloggers/vloggers "Monthly Favorites" YouTube videos and Blog Posts. I look forward to doing this blog/YouTube post every month! I have streamlined my process. I keep a running monthly list on my "notes" on my iPhone. Each item has been carefully considered. I occasionally have repeats as well. Often they are items that I have reviewed or am currently in the process of testing. But, sometimes they are just random products that I love. Or even items that I can't believe I haven't mentioned before! Check out some of my other Star Products posts from this year: January 2011, Feb 2011, March 2011, and April 2011.

For my full "Star Product" list, photo, and YouTube "Star Products" video (yes, I am back in video mode!!!), keep on reading!
