It is time for Top 10 Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday is a bi-weekly collaborative blog series where my blogger friends and I post our Top 10 lists for a per-selected category. This week we are sharing our Top 10 Products for Summertime Foot Care! I am so excited about this topic because taking care of my feet in the Summers is something I really spend a lot of time and attention on. Summer is the time for pretty pedicure polish, flip flops, bare feet, and yes....callouses (ugh!!!). If I am going to bare my feet in sandals/flip flops, then I really want my feet looking cute.
Rough skin is just cringe-worthy and I do my best to avoid it at all costs! Fighting callouses and rough/dry skin on my feet is a constant battle. Going barefoot and wearing flip flops seems to really dry out my feet. Plus, exposure to the drying chlorine in the neighborhood pool and YMCA does not help either.  I need not only moisture, but also products that fight rough/hard skin. So, for this post, I am going to focus on my current Top 10 Products for Summer Foot Care with an emphasis on moisturization.

I am always excited to try out new products for foot care. I have a few products that I come back to again and again, but also I equally love trying new things! Pampering my feet is something that I don't mind spending a few extra minutes on every day. For some reason, and I am going to sound like a total dork, but I just feel cuter overall if my feet are looking smooth and my toenails are polished. Before I had kids, I got a pedicure every other week. Well, I certainly don't have the time, nor want to spend the money on going to a nail salon for that anymore. So, I am perfectly happy pampering my piggies (lol, this is what my 2-year old daughter calls toes) at home!

My Summertime Foot Care Routine:
In the Summers, I must really amp up my routine with moisturizing and treating the dry/rough skin on my feet. In addition to applying my usual post-shower body butter to my feet and rest of body in the mornings (I usually use whatever body butter that I am trying to use up or one that I am testing out for review), I also apply a thick cream or foot treatment product at night. When I have a little extra time (which I admit is rare these days), I opt for a foot soak or bath. If my feet are achy, I like to do a little soak with Epsom salts. During my foot soaks, I also like using foot scrubs and a foot brush/pumice stone to really work on those callouses. Every night before bed, I slather cream all over my feet and put on cotton socks. I usually get hot in the middle of the night and take off my socks. But, I still get a few hours in them and this helps the cream to absorb.

So, here ya go ya'll: My Current Top 10 Products for Summertime Foot Care:
  • NightCare Heel Treatment Kit: This is such a great kit for when your heels get super dry and rough! NightCare's Intensive Healing Foot Cream and Moisturizing Gel Heel Socks (footless socks with built in moisturizing gel) come together in this kit. The convenient, at-home treatment nourishes feet with vitamins, eliminating dry skin and cracked heels while also soothing calluses. The Gel Heel Socks have a unique moisture zone made of Visco-Gel that continuously softens and moisturizes dry skin. Dermatologist-tested, the heel socks deliver mineral oil to repair damaged skin, and come in a cute leopard print! You can either use the heel socks or Foot Cream on their own or you can increase the results by using them at the same time. I use this kit at night right before going to sleep. I just slather my feet with the Foot Cream and then put on the footless Moisturizing Gel Heel Socks. I love this whole concept. However, my toe area tends to be even dryer/rougher than my heels. So, I wish there was a moisturizing toe patch as well! This kit retails for $25.00 from NightCareProducts.com
  • NightCare Exfoliating Foot Scrub: When I have a bit more time, I like doing a full spa-like foot treatment and pedicure. I will admit that my time as limited and I don't do this as much as I like. However, when I do, I like to start with a foot soak with a scrub treament. This Scrub from NightCare is a great option. It leaves my feet hydrated and smelling great! Retails for $5.99 at Walmart.

I literally keep Aquaphor everywhere: all over house, in purse, in nursery for baby, etc! @All Lacquered Up-LOL! Totally! You know, the funny thing is that I am constantly using up foot creams, even though I have so many because I slather it on so thickly (and use it at least 2 times a day)...

@Chantel-Thank you!

@Prime Beauty-I really like that heel treatment!
