It is time to check in with Kiehl's so that we can discuss their awesome new releases! :) Kiehl's is a clear favorite in our house. My husband pretty much uses Kiehl's exclusively and Kiehl's is in heavy rotation for me as well. Their products are just amazing! So, I always get excited when they launch new products.

Age Defender Gel Moisturizer:
My husband is a huge fan of the whole Age Defender line. He has actually been looking for a more lightweight moisturizer for summer. So, this product is perfect for what he needs right now. His report: he loves it!

The Age Defender Gel Moisturizer is a lightweight anti-aging moisturizer that is uniquely formulated for men’s thicker, coarser skin. The formula includes powerhouse ingredient Linseed Extract. The Age Defender Gel Moisturizer is a non-greasy gel moisturizer for men absorbs easily into skin that boasts that it helps to visibly reduce lines and wrinkles for firmer, younger-looking skin. This moisturizer sinks right in to plump and hydrate the skin!

Calendula Serum-Infused Water Cream

I knew the minute that I saw this that I had to try it. As ya'll may know, I use a drugstore brand water-cream every day as the first step in my skincare routine after washing my face. So, I was very curious to try this water cream from Kiehl's. Yes, it is more expensive than my beloved drugstore product. However, Kiehl's is one of my favorite skincare lines. Their products are always well-formulated and produce results. So, generally speaking, I don't mind paying more for Kiehl's products as I totally trust that they work. So, I was super excited to try this product out! 

This product is a companion to Kiehl's best-selling Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner (I must try this!). Kiehl's efficacious, weightless water cream is infused with the popular Calendula Serum that contains concentrated Calendula Flower Extract and hundreds of micronized Calendula petals. Upon application, this unique, lightweight moisturizer provides a burst of soothing hydration for fresh, radiant skin. Oh goodness, I absolutely love it! 

The Calendula Serum-Infused Water Cream helps to visibly even out skin tone and it boosts radiance for a healthier looking complexion. The product is also very soothing and it helps to visibly reduce redness. It also works to improve uneven texture, dull skin and dry fine lines. Skin appears plumper and softer when you use this as it boosts your hydration for the whole day! I adore this water-cream and love its soft scent, too.

My new Favorite Brushes by Olivia Garden

My New Favorite Brushes from Olivia Garden:

I rarely change brushes. Usually, when I find a great brush. I stick with it literally for years. Recently, I tried some brushes from Olivia Garden and I literally replaced three of my regular everyday brushes to Olivia Garden and I am not turning back! I have completely converted to primarily using Olivia Garden brushes and they are just fantastic!!!

So, lets discuss my very favorite brushes from Olivia Garden: the Ceramic Thermal 4 1/4 Round Brush, iDetangle Paddle Brush, and the EcoHair Paddle Brush. 

There are three main brushes in my everyday hair routine. I use a detangling brush to detangle my hair when it is wet or when it just needs to be brushed out. When I am drying my hair, I use a paddle brush to work the hair dryer through my hair while gently smoothing out slightly wavy areas and turning ends slightly under. Last, but not least, I use a huge round thermal brush for the last step with my hair dryer to give my hair mega volume and turning the ends under. I literally can not style my hair without these three steps with these three key brushes. 

So, I switched out all of those everyday brushes with Olivia Garden's versions and I like Olivia Gardens so much more than my previous favorites! My faves are now Olivia Garden! 

Lets discuss each brush:

The iDetangle Paddle Brush:

Hands down, this is the best detangler that I have ever used. Not only do I use this fantastic brush on myself, but now I also use it on my kids. Actually, I really need to get two more, lol, as I am always running up or down the stairs to look for this brush to use on my kids. It detangles hair like a dream. Literally, it is just like magic. It just works and goes right through any tangles. Brushing out my kids hair in the morning used to be a huge chore because they always complained. Now they actually enjoy their hair being brushed as it is a pain-free process with this amazing brush.

Olivia Garden’s iDetangle Paddle Brushes are $14.99 each. We have the translucent White version of this brush. I would actually like to try both the Medium (grey) and Thick (black) versions as well as we all have very thick hair in my house.

The EcoHair Paddle Brush:
My paddle brush step is a key step in my hair styling process. I let my hair air-dry as much as possible. When I am ready to dry my hair, my first step with the dryer is with a paddle brush. The flat shape and very slight curve of the bristles help to smooth out my hair and dry it straight (my hair is straight..however, it can get some very slight waves in spots). This paddle brush from Olivia Garden is fantastic. It is just the right size and shape and it glides through my hair effortlessly and gives me the exact result that I want.

It is absolutely perfect for styling my straight long bob "Lob" haircut! Literally, I will forever use this brush!

FRÉ Skincare | GLOW ME Tinted Moisturizer:

For fresh and beautiful skin that can survive the Summer heat and humidity, I am really enjoying FRÉ Skincare’s GLOW ME Tinted Moisturizer. At first, this tint looks too dark for me. However, it really melts right into my skin and amazingly does not look too dark. Plus, while my face tends to stay pale in the Summer, my body (despite good SPF efforts) ends up with a light tan. So, this product tends to even out that balance. This tinted moisturizer is a revolutionary 3-in-1 formula designed specifically for skin that sweats (and there’s a lot of that during Georgia's super hot and humid Summers). Glow Me is formulated with Argania Active Complex for moisturizing, SPF 15 for protection, and it has a universal nude tint for a sheer finish to blur imperfections and even skin tone. Now with an SPF of 15, this is not quite enough sun protection for me. However, I am using this layered over my Summer sunscreen which is an SPF of 30. So, I do not mind the SPF being a low SPF 15 in this product. I think of this as an extra layer of protection and coverage that I wear over my sunscreen. While I tend to try out a ton o different types of sunscreens, my overall preferance is really mineral sunscreen because it provides natural protection that does not degrade in sunlight. Plus, I find that mineral sunscreens are much more gentle on my slightly sensitive skin. I Dew Care | Straight Radiate Radiance Moisturizing Gold Gel Cream:
This is a bouncy gel cream formulated with gold powder to give a sun-kissed, beachy glow! This product is incredibly unique. It is super hydrating because of the hyaluronic acid plus it has the amazing benefit of giving your skin a gorgeous glow. You can use this on its own or use it underneath your regular makeup and apply it like a moisturizer. I like using it as a moisturizer. I use it in place of my regular hyaluronic acid moisturizer that I usually layer on underneath tinted sunscreen and makeup. When I apply Straight Radiate first, it allows for a beautiful lit-from-within type of glow to my overall look. I also like to use this to spot highlight on my body. When you first look at the shade, you will think "this looks to dark or gold". However, once you apply it applies seemlessly into your skin! I am super fair and this product still works for me.
