I get so excited when my favorite skincare lines get love from the online community! So, it is no surprise for me to find out that Erborian is so well loved.

Erborian's well-loved CC Creme is probably the Erborian product that I am most familiar with and also the first item I ever tried from Erborian a couple years ago. It is seriously just so good! I really enjoy both the Erborian CC Creme and their BB Creme. 

This CC Creme has SPF 25 protection and it has the ability to perfect your skin and leave it feeling soft, hydrated, and radiant. The coverage is very sheer and lightweight feeling. Now, the color Clair is just ever-so-slightly too dark for me. However, it still works since the product is sheer enough.

What? Erborian Eau Ginseng Lotion ($39)

Erborian has a whole collection of multi-benefit liquid lotions and I have tried a few over time. Erborian's Ginseng Milk is thicker than water yet lighter than a cream. It is a nice second step to your skincare routine. It provides moisture while smoothing and tightening your skin. Ginseng is an ingredient known to tone, tighten, and smooth the skin. If you are looking for weightless moisture in a toner, this is it! It instantly sinks in and hydrates. I just swipe it on with a cotton ball/round after cleansing. This product works so well for my skin type (combination skin that is somewhat sensitive and prone to occasional breakouts). I feel like I can get the hydration that I crave without irritation nor the risk of breakouts. I love it!!! Note: I have also tried the Yuza Double Lotion and really enjoy that one, too!

What? Erborian Liquid B.B Crème Au Ginseng Cushion Compact ($48)

If you are a fan of cushion foundations, then you are going to love this BB Creme with a cushion compact packaging! The formula gives beautiful sheer coverage with nice hydration. I find that this product is great for giving on-the-go coverage that you can build on or touch up throughout the day because of the convenience of the compact.

The palette itself features a slim design and an artistic graphic look. It features a mirror and magnetic closure. The lip area opens separately from the eye and face colors. which is nice since I always touch up lips more than eyes.

While these shades are bolder than I tend to go for day-to-day, I find that I am inspired to create a more dramatic look with this palette for my next date night! The shades are flattering and work very well together. I was especially inspired by the sample looks posted on the Deck of Scarlet site for this palette. They featured a gorgeous winged-eye look with vibrant lips that I totally want to recreate!

I am so very excited about the Color of the Year for 2018! I find the whole selection process for the annual Color of the Year to be facinating. Color trends are so reflective of our culture, collective thought, and the world today. Not to mention, I am super excited about Ultra Violet as it has always been one of my very favorite colors. I am thrilled that a purple shade is the Color of the Year!!!

Pantone, a provider of professional color language standards and digital solutions, has selected Ultra Violet (dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade) as Color of the Year for 2018. 

Here are some of the thoughts about the selection of Ultra Violet straight from the experts at Pantone:

“We are living in a time that requires inventiveness and imagination. It is this kind of creative inspiration that is indigenous to PANTONE 18-3838 Ultra Violet, a blue-based purple that takes our awareness and potential to a higher level,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “From exploring new technologies and the greater galaxy, to artistic expression and spiritual reflection, intuitive Ultra Violet lights the way to what is yet to come.” Complex and contemplative, Ultra Violet suggests the mysteries of the cosmos, the intrigue of what lies ahead, and the discoveries beyond where we are now.
