Namastay in India | Blockbuster Eyeshadow Palette:
From the Holiday Collection, I got to try out the gorgeous 44-pan Blockbuster Eye Shadow Palette. This is seriously a neutral eyeshadow lovers dream palette. There is a beautiful variety of both warm and cool neutral shades ranging from light to dark and from matte to shimmer. You can create endless neutral eye looks with this beautiful palette!

So often, when I get a huge eyeshadow palette like this, I love it...but, in reality, how many of the shadows am I going to use on a daily basis? That is certainly not the case with this palette. Let's face it ya'll. I pretty much wear neutral eyeshadows on the daily. So, this palette is going to get some serious use from me! I absolutely adore it. The shadows apply and blend like a dream.

Namastay in India | Swimmables Eye Pencil Kit:
This amazing long-wear eye liner stays put through anything! It is waterproof, sweatproof, and swim proof. The ultra-creamy, richly pigmented formula glides on effortlessly for precise lining. Once set, liner is waterproof and smudge proof!

Now, I didn't get a chance to try out the exact Namastay in India Kit. However, I was able to sample an assortment of the Swimmables liners and find them to be fabulous. I have such a hard time with eyeliners as my eyes are very sensitive and are very prone to watering. The good news is that these stay put beautifully on me!

The Collection includes a black, grey, eggplant, and bronze shade. Retails for $25.00 for the kit of  4 liners.

The Get it Together Eyeshadow Palette and Fig Lip Crayon

As we transition to the cooler weather of the Fall, I transition my makeup colors as well! While I generally stick to neutral shades year-round, I do still switch things up seasonally. In the Spring and Summer, I tend to go for a very natural look and focus on glowing skin. In the Fall and Winter, I tend to go a bit heavier on the eyes with shadows and liner and go for a darker lip.

The Get It Together Palette:
This is a gorgeous and pigmented palette of 10 versatile shades of shadow and liners in a variety of velvety textures (matte, demi-matte, metallic, shimmer). The overall tone of this palette is warm. While I often gravitate towards more cool-tones, warm tones are extremely flattering to a variety of skin tones and I do find that warm tones like these really bring out my blue eyes. All of the shades in this palette are useable! My only wish is that there was a lighter shimmery shade like a shimmery vanilla.

This palette also includes a card with a step-by-step guide for 4 pretty eye looks. I love it when these types of instructions are included. I tend to do the same sort of eye shadow look everyday. So, these types of cards really give me the confidence to experiment a bit more and re-create the featured looks!

I really love using this palette. The shades are pretty and versatile with great wear. Plus, the packaging is nice. It is sleek and streamlined with a nice size mirror. I could see this as being a great travel palette.

Lip Crayon in Fig:
Honest Beauty's Lip Crayons are lightweight lipcolors with semi-matte finishes. Fig is one of the new shades and I think it is just perfect for Fall! These lip crayons contain moisturizing and nourishing ingredients like jojoba oil, murumuru, and and shea butters. I like that the finish is somewhat matte but also still natural.

Lets start with these super shimmery blushes as I do tend to have a thing for blush. These light-reflecting illuminators have an unbelieveable metallic shimmer. The powder is so soft and buttery that it almost doesn't even feel like a powder. It has a high mica and pearl content which makes it ultra luminecent.

POP has highlighter shades and blush/bronzer shades in the Prismatic Pop Illuminating Powder collection. I tried the blush/bronzer shades and they are so pretty. I tried Coral Crush, Royal Rose, and Bronze Boom!. They have fantastic color payoff and intense light reflection with such a glow!

POPBeauty Flashadow Liquid Eye Shadow:
Wow! These are intense!!! This is total liquid metal shimmer with glitter. If you want a wow-effect, you will get it with these. Plus, these are so much easier than trying to get traditional glitter to stick to your eye lids! These have no budge and have extended wear. You can either wear them solo or layer over regular shadow for a pop of intense sparkle and shine. They go on wet and then dry to set to a smudge-proof shadow.

These are incredibly fun to play with! I love these for a glam night out.

Available shades: Cosmic Confetti (my fave!!!), Naked Glitz, Crushed Copper, and Black Drizzle

POPBeauty Topper Popper Metallic Lip Stain:
POPBeauty really wants you to shine this season. Here is another mega-shiny mega-shimmer product...this time, for your lips! Topper Poppers can be used either as metallic top coats to your regular lip color or as a stand-alone sheer lip look.

Once the product dries to set, you get a smudge-proof lip that is incredibly long wearing! The amazing sparkle and shimmer really lasts. These are super fun to wear!

Here are my favorite shades (there are 6 available): Cream Popper, Peach Popper, Pink Popper, and Red Popper.

Retails for $10.00 each.

POPBeauty Twinkle Texture Multidimensional Palette:
This palette will certainly get your attention! This palette contains 4 silky shimmer shades and 4 complimenting super glitter shadows. These mix and match shades really let you get creative and sparkly with your eye looks!

To use, you just apply your shimmer shade of choice as the base. Then, you layer the super glitter color on top for a totally standout POP effect!

I find with my color preferances, that I am gravitating more towards the silver and purple shades. I might wear the gold as well, but I doubt that I will wear the maroon.

This palette retails for $14.00.

POPBeauty Permanent Pout:
POPBeauty has an assortment of new shades available to their Permanent Pout collection that are collaborations with social media influencers. I totally support that! ;)

Permanent Pout lip shades are long wearing and "kiss proof" formulas. There are quite an assortment of shades from bold to neutral. My favorite shades are Sweet Harmony and Z.

To use, you apply to clean and dry lips. You need to use waterproof makeup remover to remove the color.

POPBeauty Filter Effect Base:
POPBeauty calls these the "no filter foundations"!  These foundations promise light-weight coverage for a beautiful and even complexion. The formula is infused with antioxidants. Plus, it blends in beautifully to blur imperfections and it gives you a lovely natural finish. The coverage is buildable. The formula is also oil-free!

These foundations come in 8 shades. The No. 1 Fair is pretty close to my skin tone.

Pixi Pretties Collaborations and NEW Skincare from Pixi Beauty and Pixi Skintreats!

Have you seen the latest from Pixi Beauty at your local Target? I am so excited about the newest Pixi Pretties collections as well as some awesome new skincare launches. 

The Pixi Pretties collections are collaborations between Pixi Beauty's founder Petra and top YouTube Beauty Vloggers. Dulce Candy, in particular, is a beauty guru that I have been watching for years. So, I am particularly interested in trying out the products she created! Need ideas for how to use the items in the Pixi Pretties collection? As far as Pixi Beauty's skincare, their Glow Tonic has been a staple product in my skincare rotation for years. So, I am always excited to try out new launches from Pixi's skincare collection. 

Pixi Pretties:

Pixi + Chloe Morello

The gorgeous Palette Chloette is a collaboration between Pixi Beauty and Chloe Morello. When formulating the products, Chloe was inspired by love & romance as she recently got married.  

I really like the selection of shades in this palette. My only wish is that they included a lighter shade for the eye shadows as I always like a light shade on my lid and inner corner. With the exception of there not being a light shade, you really do have everything else that you need to create a complete look with eyes and cheeks. I find these to be nicely blendable with about medium pigmentation (which makes the products easy to work with). I particularly like the cheek colors in this palette! 

The gorgeous Palette Chloette features 6 Eye Shades, 3 Liner/Brow Shades, and 3 Blush Shades. Retails for $24.00.

Pixi + Dulce Candy

Dulce Candy and Pixi Beauty collaborated on two gorgeous palettes that are perfect for the on-the-go girl! Dulce Candy is a busy Mom (like me!). So, she can appreciate time saving products. 

The Café con Dulce Multi-Use Palette features a powder-to-crème formulations that can be used as a highlight or to add color to the skin. These products can even be used on the eyes, too!

Dulce’s Lip Candy Lip Palette is for both the lips and the cheeks. These shades are universally flattering to a variety of skin tones and the products are infused with skin-loving antioxidants and minerals. 

Both of these palettes retail for $24.00 each.

Pixi Skintreats Skincare:

Have you discovered the joy of adding an oil into your skincare routine? I just love using facial oils as the "final step" in my evening skincare routine. I find that just a drop or two of oil in the evenings smoothed over my face or in key areas really improves the overall look and feel of my skin. You can also use this as an add-in to your favorite moisturizer. Just add in 1 drop and use your moisturizer the way you normally would. I am always looking for good oils...and this one from Pixi Skintreats is really nice! 

This moisturizing oil blend includes a variety of skin-loving ingredients including Jasmine Flower Extract (healing and calming), Evening Primrose (rich in omega-6), and Grape Seed Oil (antioxidant and vitamin rich).

Pixi Skintreats T-Zone Peel-Off Mask:

I just love doing facial masks at home. It is my weekly spa-like treat to myself. So, I am always looking for a good mask to add into my rotation. Sometimes I do a clarifying mask and sometimes I opt for a hydrating mask. The best thing to do is to choose your mask based on exactly what your skin needs at that moment. That is why I am so excited about this mask. This mask specifically targets the t-zone which is really one of my biggest trouble areas of my skin. So, this is certainly a mask that I opt for frequently! 

The T-Zone Peel-Off Mask is formulated with Avacado and Green Tea to nourish and purify. This mask works to detoxify and your skin and draw out impurities like dirt and oil. I like to use this mask when my skin is looking or feeling more congested and oily. To use, you apply this mask to the t-zone only. Just leave it on until it dries and then peel it off. I find this mask to be effective without irritating my somewhat sensitive skin. Retails for $22.00.

Looking for some everyday neutrals to freshen up your look for Summer? Well, look no further than these gorgeous palettes created by Kerry Washington for Neutrogena. Kerry has been a Neutrogena celebrity brand ambassador for Neutrogena for years. So, I am happy to see a collaborative range of makeup from her! I am a huge fan of her on Scandal. So, you just know that I had to try out these gorgeous palettes....plus, I am a neutrals girl at heart and that is exactly what you will find in these super wearable palettes!

Neutrogena Essential Cheek Palette and Neutrogena Essential Eye Palette:

The eye palette contains 5 neutral shades ranging from light to dark: Brilliant, Confident, Flirty, Focused, and Powerful. Pigmentation and texure varies, but overall these shadows are very blendable! The shadows have a very subtle shimmer without being at all sparkly. I can almost create a full look with these! I just had to add a very light shade for my inner corner/lid (as I am very fair and always like to lighten up that area). However, for most skin tones, I think this palette is all you need for a complete eye look! 

The cheek palette contains a bronzer (Grateful), a blush (Captivating), and a highlighter (Elegant). The blush is gorgeous!!! I love the pretty pop of coral that this gives. For me, a coral blush is the quintessential summer staple! I am all about subtle for the summer with makeup with a pop of bright blush. The bronzer and highlighter lean towards warm. I do wish the highlighter was a bit more sparkly and a tad lighter, but overall the palette is very nice (especially the blush!).

To complete the look, be sure to check out the amazing range of HydroBoost products! I am a fan of the mascara and lipglosses in particular (and of course the amazing HydroBoost Gel Cream!!! Which is a new skincare staple of mine).
