Get Blushing this Fall:

I am so excited to be able to share about a fantastic new launch from Laura Mercier. Meet the NEW Blush Colour Infusion collection! If I had to pick one makeup favorite, it would certainly be blush. Nothing perks up your complexion better than a pretty pop of blush. Plus, it is a perfect transition product for Fall. For summer I focus on glowing skin, and for Fall and Winter, I love complementing my super fair/porcelain skin with a gorgeous dose of blush!

“Nothing gives you a sense of youthfulness and the appearance of health the way
your cheeks do. After all, the cheeks represent the two largest areas of your face,
so they’re something people notice.”
-Laura Mercier

Laura Mercier's Blush Colour Infusion blushes have sheer and weightless yet buildable color. They blend like a dream, apply evenly, and wear beautifully (up to 10 hours!). This microfine powder wears over either liquid or powder foundation. I typically only wear a light dusting of powder foundation over strategically placed concealer.

The Skinny on Blush Colour Infusion straight from Laura Mercier:
• Weightless, silky smooth texture
• Buildable and blendable sheer coverage formula
• Customized blend that improves evenness of application
• Adheres to skin for 10 hours of comfortable, colour-true wear
• Creamy, sensorial feel and high glide upon application
• Micronized pigments help deliver a sheer flush of color that lets skin show through
• Oil, paraben, fragrance and sulfate-free

Shades:
Matte: Rosé, Chai, Ginger, Strawberry, Kir Royale
Sheen: Fresco, Pomegranate, Peach, Grapefruit, Sangria

I got to try out a mix of matte and sheen shades: Sangria, Chai, Pomegranate, Rose, and Ginger. They are all so beautiful that it is hard to pick a favorite! I am finding that I am reaching for Rose the most and also Ginger and Chai. For Pomegranate and Sangria, I need to use a lighter hand as these shades are bolder and pack more pigment.

Laura Mercier's Application Tips:
Before applying powder blush, always set skin first with Translucent Powder for the most even and smooth application. Pick up product with the Cheek Colour Brush or Angled Cheek Colour Brush. Desaturate the colour on the back of your hand to distribute pigment evenly through bristles. Apply to apples of cheeks in a soft, sweeping, circular motion and blend for an even and sheer application. For a bold look, release more blush colour by gently tapping the bristles on cheeks, or re-prep the brush and repeat application. Focus on the center of the apple and build the colour to the intensity you desire.
