I got to try out a few items from this new TIGI Cosmetics CVS lineup. Overall, I am super pleased with these items! The packaging is beautiful and very sleek and high-end. Plus, the quality and pimentation is really good across the board.

Here is the scoop on the items I tried:

High Density Quad Eyeshadow:

Love Affair:

This is a gorgeous warm-toned neutral quad. I love the size of the compact as it is such a good size for travel or your handbag. Plus, the assortment of shades is so nice. It is just what you need for a start-to-finish complete eye look. It has nice pigmentation and features both matte and shimer shades. 

Glow Blush:

Awaken: 

What a gorgeous peach shade. This is a baked formula blush with a dome shape. It is super small but packes a gorgeously pigmented punch. I find this shade to be so flattering. I am such a "blush girl". So, finding a pretty blush like this in the drugstore really does thrill me. This blush has a nice golden shimmer to it. Love it!!! You can certainly get your glow-on with this blush. I think this shade would be universally flattering to a variety of skin tones. On the CVS site, this shade looks more peachy-pink, but IRL it looks more like a true peach to me.

Perfect Eyeliner:

Black:

The creamy formula of this eyeliner applies and glides on your lids smoothly and with just enough time to smudge before the formula sets to a nice long-wearing finish. I love that there is a smudger on one end as that saves me time in the mornings as I am not digging for a smudge brush. Love this!

Luxe Lipglos:

This lipgloss is beautifully packaged in an acryllic tube with an hourglass shape applicator. The formula is nicely hydrating and feels soothing going on. It contains natural emoolients for natural hyration and maximum shine. There are 8 shades available. Superficial is a beautiful semi-sheer nude with irradecent shimmer. It really looks beautiful on. It is such a lovely shade that can complete a variety of makeup looks. Plus, the taste/scent...like yummy vanilla carmel!

Diamond Lipstick:

Loyalty:

What a pretty silver lipstick tube! It is square shaped as is the product inside. I love the unique and very sleek and modern design. The formula itself is creamy and it gives a very smooth application. The formula contains vitamin E and rosehip seed oil to soften and nourish your lips. The shade Loyalty is more brown toned IRL than it appears online on the CVS site.

Get a beautiful hint of color with a gorgeous and shiny lipgloss! This is my first time trying Jane Iredale's PureGloss Lip Glosses...and I am hooked! They are thick and a tiny bit sticky, but they are also so pretty and hydrating. I love the sheer hint of color and shine they give my lips.

I love the look of bronzed and glowing skin in the Summer...BUT, I don't tan well. I am super fair and tend to seek the shade and high SPFs. So, my best bets for bronzed, golden, and glowing skin are bronzers and self tanners. I am always eager to try out new ones and am super pleased with my results with Tantasia from Jane Iredale!

Healthy Skin is Always In!
I am really loving this Powder SPF! I am all about daily SPF use. However, I must admit that unless I am at the pool, lake, or beach, I do not reapply during the day. I find that this powder really is the answer to this. Rather than touching up with my usual pressed or loose powder, I am now using Jane Iredale's Powder-Me SPF Dry Sunscreen! It gives me a boost of SLF and a little bit of coverage.

Vibrant Makeup from butter LONDON: Project Runway Jr.'s Winning Look!

Ready to get inspired? I am so excited to share today one of the amazing winning looks from Project Runway Jr! 

I am a huge fan of the Project Runway franchise of shows. Literally, I have been watching for years! Project Runway Jr. is especially interesting as the contestants are kids and they are soooo talented! 

Butter LONDON has such a great lineup of makeup in addition to their awesome line of polishes. Keep reading to find out how this winning Project Runway Jr. look was created. I tested out a couple of the items myself and was so impressed with the vivid color and intesnse pigmentation. The Flash Mob lipgloss has become a new favorite of mine. So pretty!!!

A few weeks ago, Project Runway Junior® brought us the summer heat in the midst of winter! In the always exciting “Unconventional Challenge” episode, this season’s group of next-generation fashion greats found themselves tasked with designing a look using a variety of aquatic materials inspired by nail and makeup sponsor, butter LONDONTM’s, Pure, Posh & Playful personality. While taking in the skyline from atop a Manhattan rooftop pool, these talented teens created ensembles using inflatable flamingos, beach balls, tiki torches and more.

Have you guys seen these super cute glosses yet from Rimmel London? I am totally crushing over these super silky hydrating glosses! 

Lately, I am all about a low-maintenence lip. I am a busy Mom on-the-go and I do end up giving a lot of kisses during the day to my toddler and preschooler. So, I am not on a big lipstick kick lately. I need a low-maintence and low-fuss lip. Lip Balm is often my go-to. However, I do crave giving my lips a bit of color and shine, too. So, if I am not reaching for a lip balm or a tinted lip balm, I like reaching for a hydrating lip gloss. What can I say? I just feel a bit cuter with a lipgloss on, lol! These new OH MY GLOSS! lip glosses from Rimmel are my new go-to. 

OH MY GLOSS! Lip Glosses:

I love the hydrating feel as well as the soft, shimmery, and sheer color that these glosses give my lips. These are ever-so-slightly sticky, but not overly so (not to the point of being annoying, just enough tack to allow the gloss to adehere and last awhile). So, there is a nice balance between the texture and staying power of these. Rimmel boasts that these glosses give you hours of color, shine, and comfort. So, they certainly do give you long wear and lasting color (however, I do not get a full 6 as I just snack too much for my lip products to last that long, lol). There is a very slight vanilla-isa scent that I like (but not sure if this is an actual added scent or just the way the gloss smells naturally). 

It is no surprise to me that these glosses are hydrating once I read the ingredients. These glosses contain the some super hydrating lip-loving ingredients like Argan Oil (one of my hands-down favorite oils!) and Vitamin E. 

OH MY GLOSS! lip glosses come in 12 shades. I was able to try 5 shades (see photos and swatches above): Captivate Me, Stay My Rose, Ooh La La, Pin Up, and Non Stop Glamour. If I had to pick a favorite of these, it would have to be Captivate Me. It is the perfect MLBB pretty everyday gloss! 

Overall, these glossses are super shiny and beautiful. They give lovely sheer color, are long lasting, and have a nice hydrating effect. I am totally digging these! Be sure to scoop some up next time you are drugstore browsing or doing your usual Target run! ;) Is anyone else like me and in Target every single week without fail? lol! 

I can't wait to pick up some more of these OH MY GLOSS! glosses! :)

I have been a fan of Eddie Funkhouser Cosmetics since their inception a couple years ago. However, it had been awhile since I had tried anything from the line. So, I was super excited when they sent me an assortment of lippies! I have gone through quite a transition lately. Historically, I have not really been a lippie-obcessed beauty-lover. I am more of a "blush girl". However, ever since my latest makeup de-cluttering, I have been very into lipsticks and lipglosses! I tossed so many old products and realized that I really needed to explore what colors looked good on my lips and what shades I wanted to purchase and add to my collection. After years of opting for either pale pink or natural/neutral lips, I find that I am gravitating towards vibrant pinks and even reds (OMG, I know...me loving red lips, who knew?). As I mentioned, I think it is a variety of factors at work: re-vamping my collection, discovering new makeup trends, and also a lighter hair shade (I am blonder and vibrant lips just perk up my look all around!).
