Transform your skin with Botanical-Based Jane Iredale Products:
Hydrating, smoothing, and concealing products can give your skin a wonderful boost. From line-smoothing to covering redness, these botanical-based solutions from Jane Iredale can really give your skin a boost!

Hydration Sprays:
I *love* using hydration sprays immediately after cleansing my face to give myself a boost of moisture. So, I was super excited to try out one from Jane Iredale.

Jane Iredale offters 3 different hydration spray formulas: POMMISST, Balance, and D2O. These  hydration sprays each refresh and hydrate skin. In addition, they can conceal pores and fine lines when you use them as a quick setting mist after mineral makeup application for a smooth finish and long lasting hold.  They may also be used as moisturizers for oily skin (this is how I use them: immediately after cleansing for a moisture boost) or to wet makeup brushes and create precise lines.

I got to try out the D20 Hydration Spray:
Jane iredale D2O Hydration Spray is a facial spritz based on Ylang Ylang that helps to hydrate, calm and protect the skin. The ylang ylang leaves an uplifting scent and has a balancing action on the secretion of sebum. It can be used to:
Set minerals for a long lasting, smooth finish
Soothe post-laser
Wet makeup brushes to turn powder eye shadows into eyeliner

I also had the chance to try out Jane Iredale's Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream in the shade bb1. I really enjoy using BB Creams as they are such great multi-taskers: they function as a facial moisturizer, sunscreen, and coverage in one!

Here is some more information about this amazing BB Cream from Jane Iredale:
This multi-tasking dynamo combines foundation, concealer, sunscreen and added skin care benefits in a versatile one-step product. Available in nine shades, it incorporates natural minerals that adjust to your skin tone to cover blemishes, minimize pores, disguise wrinkles and smooth and brighten skin. Applied with your fingers, the formula nourishes, protects, smoothes and brightens skin while providing gorgeous, total coverage.

Aloe leaf juice soothes and calms the skin
Honeysuckle extract helps purify the skin

I really enjoy the coverage and the feel of this BB Cream on my skin! Plus, SPF 25 is a perfect level of sun protection for me for an everyday basis. In the mornings I have been cleansing my face, following it with the Jane Iredale Hydration Mist, and then apply BB Cream after that. It is a super easy morning routine!

Osmosis Colour Mineral Cosmetics' "Midnight Glitz" Makeup Tutorial:

Looking for a gorgeous and glam look for New Years or any fun date-night out in the New Year? Look no further than this gorgeous makeup look featuring Osmosis Colour Mineral Cosmetics.

Created by Global Corporate Educator, Ami Mallon, I am excited to share Osmosis Colour Mineral Cosmetics' "Midnight Glitz" makeup tutorial. Featuring a perfectly contoured complexion and a smokey sparkle, please find the step-by-step guide below.

Step 1:
Using the Angled Blush Brush and the contour shade from the Lustrous Contour Duo, create a thin line from the center of the ear under the cheekbone down to the middle of the brow. Use the same shade to trace under the jawline and blend down to your neck. Then, bring this same shade from the temple across the forehead and blend.

Step 2:
With the Medium Accent Brush and the highlighting shade from the Lustrous Contour Duo, lightly sweep the high points of your face such as the tops of your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, under the brow bone, and the cupid's bow to accent your best features.

Step 3:
Prep the eyes by blending a small amount of the Age Defying Treatment Concealer with the Concealer Brush. Using the Blender Brush, sweep the darker shade from the Lustrous Contour Duo into your crease to create definition.

Step 4:
Apply the Black Eye Pencil on your lid from lash line to crease. Don't worry about precision in this step, we'll be blending it in the next!

Step 5:
Blend the Black Eye Pencil using the Contour Shadow Brush. TIP: Our Eye Pencils are long-wear and will set quickly, so get to blending as soon as you can!

Step 6:
Then, apply Black Eye Pencil to your lower lash line and blend under your eye using the smudge brush at the end of the Eye Pencil for a natural smokey look.

Step 7:
Using your finger or our Smudge Brush, dab Azure Water Color onto the center of your lid and blend into your crease and outwards.

Step 8:
Take the same Smudge Brush and apply a small amount of Azure Water Color to the center of the lower lash line to make the eye look larger.

Step 9:
With your finger or a clean Smudge Brush, dab a small amount of Opal Water Color in your tear duct area as well as under your brow to brighten and highlight! Then, apply several coats of the Volumizing Mascara to complete the eye look.

Step 10:
Pair with your favotire lip and cheek! We went with a soft, pink lippie using our First Kiss Lipstick topped with Flirt Lip Glaze and added a pop of color to the cheeks with one of our favorite blushes, Pink Pearl.

That is it! A beautiful and sophisticated look. Have fun re-creating this look for New Years Eve or any fun night beyond.

Five Products to Nail Safe Summer Beauty from Jane Iredale:
Summer beauty is all about healthy, bronzed, and glowing skin with just a hint of natural color. Jane Iredale has some great products and tips for getting a gorgeous Summer beauty glow!

A Kiss of Color:
Get a beautiful hint of color with a gorgeous and shiny lipgloss! This is my first time trying Jane Iredale's PureGloss Lip Glosses...and I am hooked! They are thick and a tiny bit sticky, but they are also so pretty and hydrating. I love the sheer hint of color and shine they give my lips.

NEW PureGloss Lip Gloss in Pink Lady and Martini: ($26, janeiredale.com)
Drench lips in this cocktail of hydrating moringa butter, avocado oil, lemon and pomegranate extracts for long-lasting creamy color. Plus, it's completely vegan-friendly!

Bronzed Skin and Dewy Finish:
I love the look of bronzed and glowing skin in the Summer...BUT, I don't tan well. I am super fair and tend to seek the shade and high SPFs. So, my best bets for bronzed, golden, and glowing skin are bronzers and self tanners. I am always eager to try out new ones and am super pleased with my results with Tantasia from Jane Iredale!

Tantasia Self Tanner & Bronzer ($36, janeiredale.com)
This double duty summer must-have is especially unique because it does not contain DHA or FD&C dyes, the culprit of unnatural orange tones found in most self-tanners. Instead, Tantasia uses caramel color, mica and iron oxides (clean earth minerals) for a natural, sun kissed glow.

Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream ($48, janeiredale.com)
Get your glow with this BB Cream! Jane Iredale's fan-favorite BB cream has been reformulated to include coconut alkanes for an even smoother, luxurious feel. The full coverage yet lightweight formula is coupled with a diverse shade range that is inclusive of all skin tones. Shades BB1-BB8 contain SPF 25 and deeper shades BB9-BB12 contain SPF 17 (reduced level of titanium dioxide) to achieve the best possible color pay-off.

Healthy Skin is Always In!
I am really loving this Powder SPF! I am all about daily SPF use. However, I must admit that unless I am at the pool, lake, or beach, I do not reapply during the day. I find that this powder really is the answer to this. Rather than touching up with my usual pressed or loose powder, I am now using Jane Iredale's Powder-Me SPF Dry Sunscreen! It gives me a boost of SLF and a little bit of coverage.

Powder-Me SPF 30 Dry Sunscreen ($47, janeiredale.com)
Powder-Me SPF is a nourishing, easy to use skin protectant that contains titanium dioxide and natural clay to shield against redness and provide light coverage (so you can skip foundation). Added bonus – it's water resistant up to 40 minutes!

Be sure to check out these gorgeous items from Jane Iredale to get your safe Summer Glow! :)

Do you love your Mineral Makeup but hate the mess? Well, you might want to read this post! Minerals Mate has found a solution to this common mineral makeup maven's dilemma! Minerals Mate Application and Mixing Tray is a blending/mixing, application, and storage tray for mineral makeup (or any type of loose makeup pigments or glitters). What an inventive idea!
