I got to try out a few items from this new TIGI Cosmetics CVS lineup. Overall, I am super pleased with these items! The packaging is beautiful and very sleek and high-end. Plus, the quality and pimentation is really good across the board.

Here is the scoop on the items I tried:

High Density Quad Eyeshadow:

Love Affair:

This is a gorgeous warm-toned neutral quad. I love the size of the compact as it is such a good size for travel or your handbag. Plus, the assortment of shades is so nice. It is just what you need for a start-to-finish complete eye look. It has nice pigmentation and features both matte and shimer shades. 

Glow Blush:

Awaken: 

What a gorgeous peach shade. This is a baked formula blush with a dome shape. It is super small but packes a gorgeously pigmented punch. I find this shade to be so flattering. I am such a "blush girl". So, finding a pretty blush like this in the drugstore really does thrill me. This blush has a nice golden shimmer to it. Love it!!! You can certainly get your glow-on with this blush. I think this shade would be universally flattering to a variety of skin tones. On the CVS site, this shade looks more peachy-pink, but IRL it looks more like a true peach to me.

Perfect Eyeliner:

Black:

The creamy formula of this eyeliner applies and glides on your lids smoothly and with just enough time to smudge before the formula sets to a nice long-wearing finish. I love that there is a smudger on one end as that saves me time in the mornings as I am not digging for a smudge brush. Love this!

Luxe Lipglos:

Superficial:

This lipgloss is beautifully packaged in an acryllic tube with an hourglass shape applicator. The formula is nicely hydrating and feels soothing going on. It contains natural emoolients for natural hyration and maximum shine. There are 8 shades available. Superficial is a beautiful semi-sheer nude with irradecent shimmer. It really looks beautiful on. It is such a lovely shade that can complete a variety of makeup looks. Plus, the taste/scent...like yummy vanilla carmel!

Diamond Lipstick:

Loyalty:

What a pretty silver lipstick tube! It is square shaped as is the product inside. I love the unique and very sleek and modern design. The formula itself is creamy and it gives a very smooth application. The formula contains vitamin E and rosehip seed oil to soften and nourish your lips. The shade Loyalty is more brown toned IRL than it appears online on the CVS site.

The Cutest Diffuser Hair Dryer: Tigi Bed Head Curlipops!

Tigi Bed Bed Head: Curlipops Tourmaline Ionic Diffuser Dryer:

Every once in awhile I come across an item that is just too cute to not mention! That is why I am excited to tell you guys about Tigi Bed Head's adorable Curlipops Tourmaline Ionic Diffuser Dryer. I mean, girls...it is pink and purple! ;) 

No, I do not have curly hair that I need to diffuse. However, I do have hair that can caputure a bit of a wave when coaxed. This dryer is great for that! If I want to go with the beachy sexy look, I just spray in a salt-spray and then just scrunch up my hair while it air dries. If I need to get out the door, I will finish up my scrunching and drying with this Curlipops Diffuser dryer. 

I have a few other great uses for the Curlipops dryer! I do intensive protein hair treatments about 2x every 6-8 weeks. If you have not read about my Aphogee hair treatment routine, be sure to check out that post here. During the Aphogee treatment, I have to sit and dry the treatment into my hair for about 45 minutes. This process is *so much easier* with the curlipops dryer with the diffused heat (rather than a strong air flow from a typical dryer). So, I am thrilled!!! 

Also, I must mention, my daughter loves it when I dry her hair with the Curlipops rather than a regular dryer! She is only 4 and has never really loved the hair drying experience. Well, the more gentle flow of the Curlipops dryer is much more tolerable for her. 

The Curlipops has two heat settings and two speeds (plus a cold shot button) to customize your drying experience. Also, it has an attachment that you can use (or leave off). The dryer has 1875 watts of power. The Curlipops Diffuser retails for $34 at Ulta.

Have a Good Hair Day: Tigi's Catwalk Oatmeal & Honey Shampoo and Conditioner

There is nothing that I like better than a "good hair day"! I am sure we can all say that, right? Well, I find that the trick to that is finding the right products for your hair's needs. What makes that tricky? My hair's needs fluctuate depending on the season and the amount of damage that I am dealing with at the time. I find that with the right combination of products, I can almost always end up with smooth and shiny looking hair! I do my best to avoid "bad hair days", lol, by picking the right products for what my hair needs.

My Hair:

Currently, I would describe my hair as being dry with mild-moderate damage (from heavy highlights). I need to use shampoos and conditioners that cleanse my hair gently while leaving it super hydrated. Another issue? My hair tangles like crazy! I tend to gravitate towards super rich conditioners to smooth out my tangled mess of hair ;). So, I am super excited to try out the Tigi Catwalk Oatmeal & Honey Shampoo and Conditioner!
