Win It!!! Celebrate Cherry Blossom Season with Hado Labo Tokyo: Review and Giveaway!

 Affiliate Link Press Sample

What better way to celebrate Cherry Blossom season than a review/giveaway with Hado Labo Tokyo! Why? The US version of Japan’s best-selling skincare brand, Hada Labo Tokyo, has packaging that features cherry blossoms inspired by a specific branch growing in Kyoto, Japan.

In Japan, cherry blossoms, or sakura, start in the south and make their way in a beautiful bloom up the country. Depending on the year, this happens anytime between mid-March and mid-April.  The Japanese people celebrate this short but brilliant blooming season with a festival called hanami, in which friends and families gather under the sakura to feast and appreciate the flowering trees.

The United States has several cherry blossom festivals to commemorate the season, starting with the largest in Washington D.C. featuring trees originally gifted from Japan as a sign of friendship between our two countries. Georgia residents and visitors can enjoy Macon’s 32nd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival, while both Brooklyn Botanic Garden and  San Francisco's Japantown offer their own unique takes on the season.

We actually have a Cherry tree in our back yard here (we live in GA). The beautiful cherry blossoms were my yard's very first sign of Spring! While the blossoms are gone, we can still celebrate the season with this review/giveaway from Hado Labo Tokyo! I am already a huge fan of the products as I use the Hydrating Facial Cleanser practically every day! So, I am thrilled to be able to share these products with you readers through a giveaway.

Hado Labo Tokyo:

With a proprietary combination of 3 types of hyaluronic acid known as Super Hyaluronic AcidTM, Hada Labo TokyoTM has been Asia’s best-kept beauty secret for years. Super Hyaluronic AcidTM is a powerful hydrator and line plumper that retains twice the moisture capacity of regular hyaluronic acid, replenishing skin’s essential moisture to visibly improve texture and prevent dryness so skin stays hydrated and smooth all day long. The great news is that a USA-version of this line is now available in the USA right at our local Ulta stores! I really enjoy using the products from this line. So much so that I hope that Hado Labo brings more of its products over from Japan-it seems that the Japanese version of the line is much more extensive.

Hado Labo Tokyo Hydrating Cleanser:

This gentle foaming cleanser purifies skin while protecting and locking in essential moisture. Skin is left feeling refreshed, silky-smooth and healthy looking.

This has been one of my go-to cleansers throughout this past winter. It is so rare to find a cleanser that foams so well, is creamy, yet is also extremely gentle to this skin. This cleanser accomplishes that feat beautifully! I feel that consistent use of this cleanser keeps my skin "calm" and soothed while also keeping my skin clean. I just love it! Actually, I rate this cleanser for sure within my "top 5 cleansers" list! That is pretty good considering how many cleansers I try out! :)

The Skinny:
Retails for $11.99 for 3.5 oz. Available at Ulta.

Hado Labo Tokyo Replenishing Hydrator:

Hada Labo Tokyo’s revolutionary product is so popular, one bottle is sold every two seconds in Japan. The unique clear liquid formula, light- weight and fast-absorbing moisturizer, deeply penetrates to boost vital skin hydration levels, helping to prevent premature signs of aging leaving skin supple and nourished.

This Hydrator by Hado Labo is so gentle and soothing! I can see why it is so popular. This is a clear hyaluronic acid based gel-like moisturizer. It absolutely does not clog my pores; yet, it hydrates so well. It seems to really plump up my skin. I find that this moisturizer is ideal for warmer weather when my skin does not need a heavy moisturizer. In addition to be great for applying in the mornings, I like being able to apply this during the day as well if I feel my skin needs more hydration or plumping. I can dab a bit over my makeup without messing it up. If you are a fan of using hyaluronic acid for moisturization, you are going to love this hydrator!

Key Ingredients:

I haven't had the opportunity to try Crabtree & Evelyn or Hado Labo but I am intrigued by the hyaluronic acid. Thank you for the giveaway!

I was given a little sample of a Hado Labo moisturizer, and I was so intrigued that it was the only thing I've tried that didn't make my face look oily later on in the day. It was a small sample so I was only able to try it a couple of times, but I would love to win and see how these two products work. :-)

Thanks so much for having this giveaway!

For some reason I can't get the rafflecopter form to load, and I've tried three different browsers, and none of them are working (the form appeared for a couple of days, but now it won't load at all!). Here is my tweet for last night - https://twitter.com/missbonniebelle/status/463599871845355521

Thanks for having this giveaway, and please fix the rafflecopter form!

@Bonnie C-I am not sure what is going on with the Rafflecopter form. It is displaying just fine on my end but has occasionally disappeared. The code is inserted the trouble seems to be on Rafflecopter's end. So, just keep trying! It is there right now.

I like that this is light and doesn't clog pores. I live in a warm/humid climate and this sounds perfect for me.
