Recapture Day + IR Defense Cream:
This anti-aging skincare cream contains SPF 30 for daytime use. I have been using it every morning. I absolutely adore the texture and feel of this cream. It hydrates and plumps my skin while also providing fantastic sun protection. I also feel that it has helped to diminish my pores.

This cream contains powerhouse anti-aging ingredients like Bio-Copper Complex (a special blend that is in all of Christie Brinkley's products), Neodermyl (for reducing fine lines and wrinkles and helps increase natural production of collagen and elastin), Contains Elix-IR (a botanical for environmental aging), and Sytenol A (for firmness and elasticity).

This product alone normally retails for $69.00. So, you can see already that this kit is an awesome deal!!!

Recapture 360 Night Beauty Treatment:
This is Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare's night time treatment cream. This product along with the day cream has really made a great impact in my skin's plumpness and the diminishment of fine lines. Plus, I think that this cream just gives me a nice glow, too. I layer this cream over my usual retinol serum and it is a perfect way to top off my nighttime skincare routine!

This cream contains all of the great actives that the Recapture Day cream contains minus the sunscreen and plus Tetrapeptide-26.

This is a thick and rich cream. However, it does not feel greasy on the face. I find it soothing to use.

Thermal Detox Cleansing Mask:
What a unique cleanser/mask! I am somewhat new to "warming" mask-type cleansers and I must say that I really like the unqiue sensation of this product. Before I tried it, I was worried that it might be harsh because of the warming aspect. However, I found it to be very gentle and moisturizing; yet, it still gives a deep cleanse. The warmth actually helps the product to clear debris out of your pores. This product is gentle and it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft! 

Refocus Eye Serum:
This is a nice lightweight eye serum. I really like the fast-absorbing texture. I feel like it sinks right into my eye area and goes to work. This serum alone is not enough moisture for my eye area. So, I like to layer it underneath my usual eye creams.

This Eye Serum contains many of the actives in Christie Brinkley Authentic Skincare's other products like: Bio-Copper Complex, Neodermyl, Elix-IR, and Sytenol A.

My Home Spa: Adovia Purifying Mask

Being a stay-at-home Mom of a 5 month old baby, I need a little self-pampering! But, the demands of an infant and a single income family means that trips to the spa for facials and massages are few and far between.

So, I continue my search for great spa-like products that I can use at home. Even a few minutes soaking in the tub or laying down with my eyes closed and a facial mask on...these little treats can really revive a tired new Mommy like me! Over the next few months, I am going to be posting about all of my various at-home spa-like treatments!

I have become a bit obsessed with facial masks lately! They truly are the perfect 20-minute treat. I find that it is not only easy, but also extremely relaxing to apply a mask before bed. Plus, it really doesn't take that much extra time.

My Skin Background: 

My skin, generally speaking, falls into the normal-dry category.  But, with the warm-hot weather, I am feeling a bit more oily lately. Plus, since having a baby, my hormones are a bit whacked and I have been getting daily oily breakthrough in the t-zone area. This means my skincare must be switched up a bit! My skin rarely breaks out. But, I am a bit "congested" on the chin area. Not zits per-se, but little bumps/clogged pores. In addition, my pores are somewhat large throughout my t-zone region.
