My Hair Loves: DermOrganic Hair Products

Don't you just love discovering new products that work great! I know that I do!!! I am so excited about this entire line of Argan-Oil based organic hair care: DermOrganic. My hair totally loves this line!

My Hair:
To give ya'll a frame of reference for my review, let me first tell you a bit about my hair.

My hair is very long, thick, straight, and highlighted. The highlights have left my hair feeling very dry. Also, my hair is very prone to tangles and it is difficult to comb out. I usually have to use a ton of conditioning products, leave ins, and serums to keep my hair looking shiny and good.

A recent salon disaster (long story) has left my hair quite damaged. So, my hair needs mega moisture and protein. Rarely is a shampoo or conditioner "too rich" for me. Usually products that I try out are not quite rich or heavy enough. However, I do need to find a balance. I want products that provide moisture without weighing my hair down too much. 

About DermOrganic and the Key Product Ingredient: Argan Oil:
I am no stranger to Argan Oil. I actually am quite in love with the pure form of Argan Oil. It is pretty much a miracle moisturizer. I like using it in its pure form on my skin, my cuticles, and even the ends of my hair. So, a hair product line based on Argan Oil? Yes, this line pretty much "had me at hello".

So, what is all of this fuss about Argan Oil? Is it as good as the hype? Here is a little bit of background:

I have a skincare line review for you today! I just completed testing a variety of products from the Artisan Naturals Luxury Skin & Body Care line. As many of you readers know, I am a huge fan of natural skincare and cosmetics. If products are effective *and* eco-friendly, then they are just products that you can feel good using!

Have you heard of Artisan Naturals?
Artisan Naturals is a Natural and Organic skincare line with a focus on "Sustainable Beauty". They utilized wild-crafted ingredients, steam distilled essential oils, and natural preservatives. In addition to being organic, they are also cruelty free. Artisan Naturals products are free from: animal testing, parabens, sulfates, petro-chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and artificial colorants. I love that this brand uses organic ingredients from around the world. Artisan Naturals purchases quality ingredients such as essential oils, herbs, butters, and extracts from small self-sustainable companies and farms. These are business practices that I can respect.

Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion (review)

Have you ever heard of a shielding lotion?

In addition, it also acts to keep the moisture and the oils in the skin so that the skin can heal itself...Shielding lotions are an effective dry skin treatment because they bond with the skin and protect it for long periods of time.

Not only do I personally have very dry skin, but also with my occupation as a Speech-Language Pathologist, I wash my hands and use antibacterial hand gel very frequently throughout the day. Needless to say, this wreaks havoc on my skin, hands, and cuticles. I literally am one of those people who has lotions and hand creams everywhere. On my desk, at my therapy table, in my purse, in my car, on my night stand, and next to every sink! I am determined to beat dry skin! But, even with those extra measures, my skin is dry. Especially my hands.
