I have exciting news!!! I am featured in this month's All You Magazine (Dec 2013 issue) and All You's Website!!! As you can tell, I am totally thrilled! :) 

I have previously collaborated with All You Magazine for blog reviews and giveaways. So, when they reached out wanting to know some of my budget-friendly beauty tips a few weeks ago, I was happy to share some! Myself along with many other top beauty bloggers are featured in All You's "Secrets to Affordable Beauty" article on page 33 of the December 13th, 2013 issue (and my tip is on pg. 36). It is a pleasure to be listed alongside some of my blogger friends and my favorite YouTube vloggers like Teri from Beautiful Makeup Search, Christine from Temptalia, and Allison from Makeup By Alli. Now, if you blink, you might just miss my pinkie-nail sized photo, lol. But, it still feels awesome to be included in a national magazine that I love to read!!! What a thrill! :)

Guess What? Expecting Baby #2!

Hello there my readers! 

Well, it is time for the "official" announcement! While I have let it slip here-and-there on social media and within some of my blog posts, I decided that news of a new baby deserves its own announcement post! :)

Soooo...I am very excited to announce that we are expecting baby #2!!! I am 13 weeks along and the baby is due January 30th 2014. We are just so happy to be adding a new baby to our family! No, we do not know the baby's sex yet, but we are excited to find out in the near future! :)

As you can imagine, you will be seeing some pregnancy-related blog posts in the future. In particular, I want to focus on pregnancy-safe skincare as well as special products that pamper a tired, pregnant woman (me!). I might even slip some posts in here-and-there with nursery decorating updates, etc. I don't want to digress too much from the main beauty focus of my blog. However, with a new baby on the way and a new home to decorate. My personal as well as blogging interests have broadened from beauty and beauty products into a larger home and baby scope. Would you all be interested in hearing more about home decor and baby stuff?

Move Update: We are in our new house!

Hello my dear readers! Just a quick post today to give ya'll an update! :) 

We are finally in our new house! The process has been not only exhausting; but, also very exciting! We and are slowly and surely getting settled in. I am still living amongst many unpacked boxes. I must get this house organized before diving back into in-depth product testing and blog writing.

I hope that you all have been enjoying my pre-scheduled posts and guest posts from my wonderful fellow bloggers. Pre-scheduled content will continue to run through next week. I will continue to participate again with Top Ten Tuesdays as well as Makeup Wars beginning next month. I have been trying to keep up with emails and social media as much as I can during this move. So, no worries if your comments are not approved right away. I will approve comments when I am online. :)

Where am I? Moving House!

Nothing to Disclose

Hello lovelies! Just a quick post to let ya'll know what I am up to! I am in the process of moving house. Those of you who have moved recently know what a long and stressful process this can be. The packing, the unpacking, the timing, organizing, decorating, etc! For the sake of my own sanity, I am going to take a 2-week "break" from blogging to give me time to move and get settled in my new home. I am going to do my best to keep up with emails and social media during that time. However, there will be a few days that I will be offline completely. So, if you are trying to reach me, just give me some time to respond. :) While I am on my "blogging break", I have scheduled a few guest posts from my friends in the beauty blogging community. So, be sure to keep checking back for those posts to give my guest-bloggers some support!

Check out BlogHer TV!

Have you ya'll had a chance to check out BlogHer TV yet? As a BlogHer network blogger, I am so excited about this *new* feature that I get to post for ya'll!  The videos are really fun and have a variety of beauty and fashion features.

Where to find BlogHer TV?
BlogHer TV videos are posted right on my blog in the top bar (left hand corner) and at the top of the middle sidebar on the right. Both units will open up (and get bigger) when you mouse-over them. See my graphic (above) with the arrows depicting where you should click! :)

In fitting with the theme of my blog, the videos featured on BlogHer TV will all be beauty and fashion related. I think the video content is really fun and totally worth watching! There are also some very short advertising segments that run as well at the beginning of the videos. You can also choose to watch other videos when the BlogTV unit is open. It is super easy...just click and watch!

I am a Roc Ambassador!

Hello beauties!

I am so excited to announce that I am now a Roc Ambassador! I am thrilled to have an association with such a highly esteemed brand. Roc is a leader in anti-aging drugstore products. They are a brand that I trust as far as the quality of the product and the science behind the results.

In honor of being a new Roc Ambassador, they sent me a lovely welcome box full of Roc products to test out. The box even included some yummy macaroons! Too cute! Ya'll know I am a sucker for great packaging!!!

As you guys can see, I am about to embark on a copious amount of product testing for Roc! So many fun goodies. When I test out products, I do so slowly and carefully. I only test one or two products at a time to get accurate impressions of the results. So, you guys can expect many Roc reviews in the future. But, with that said, the reviews will roll out as I complete product testing. So, stay tuned!

Dove Diaries Challenge: My Pregnancy Skincare Routine

Hello Beauties!

The Australian fashion and beauty site 2threads recently asked me to participate in their Dove Diaries campaign. Basically this is to challenge beauty bloggers like myself to post about their beauty routines on their blogs. Since I love talking about beauty routines anyway, I am very happy to participate! Next week, 2threads will do a short feature on Pammy Blogs Beauty under their Dove Diaries tab on their site. So, be sure to share some love and head on over there (next week) to check it out!

While I don't have any Dove products in my facial skincare routine, Dove's Sensitive Skin Unscented Bar soap is my "holy grail" bar soap for the body! This bar soap lives in my shower year round. My skin is super-prone to skin allergies and this bar soap is very gentle on my skin. It moisturizes and leaves me very soft!

For my facial skincare beauty routine, I decided to focus on Pregnancy Skincare since I am, in fact, pregnant. Pregnant skin has specific needs: think hormonal changes and a need for gentle pregnancy-safe ingredients. Many standard skincare ingredients such as retinol/vit a derivatives, salicylic acid, and benzol peroxide are huge "no-nos" during Pregnancy. So, are you curious about my routine? 1) Mascara: Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara-Love this! Never smudges, wears great, good separation. HG Status!

2) Powder Foundation: MAC Studio Fix in NC 15: I can't live without this! Great match for my skintone.

3) Liquid Foundation: NARS Sheer Glow in Siberia. A perfect match for my skin. Love the finish!

4) High End Eye Shadow Palette: Urban Decay Naked Palette: As a neutrals girl, this is the perfect palette for me! The quality of the shadows is amazing, the palette is sleek and compact, and the shades included are perfect for a variety of neutral looks! Love it!

5) Drugstore Eye Shadow: Wet n Wild Color Icon Palettes: I especially love the newer 8 pan palettes in Petal Pusher when I want some color (I *heart* purples and pinks!) and Comfort Zone for neutrals. The texture, finish, pigmentation, and wear of this shadows blows me away for the price!

6) Lipgloss: Revlon Super Lustrous: These are my current all around favorite lipglosses. Revlon does lip products so well! These glosses are glossy and moisturizing without being sticky. I have many glosses from this line and I love them all! I only wish there were more colors!

7) Bronzer: Cargo Bronzer in Light. I have tried a million bronzers, but always want to reach for this one. It is such a perfect bronzer for fair skin!

8) Eyeliner: Bobbi Brown Gel Liners: These were the first gel eyeliners that I ever tried. They are so easy to work with and they wear all day! Love!

9) Drugstore blush: Milani Baked Blushes (I especially love the shade Luminoso): These are high-end quality with a drugstore price! Fabulous pigmentation and a nice color selection. This blush wears ALL day! Lovely!!!

10) High End Blush: MAC (fav shade: Pink Swoon): MAC blushes are amazing!

Okay, so....here it goes!

Five "Cool Facts"

• I'm Trendy. I adore Fashion!!! I am a Fashion Magazine-junky who loves scoping through the pages to finding the coolest new trends...and following them. I try to recreate looks by "Shopping my own closet", but yes...sometimes new purchases are required! ;) So, my style is somewhat of a merge with classic and trendy...I'm an Urban Hipster, lol! 

• While I love being fashionable, I truly am a geek at heart! I made good grades all the way through school and am super-quiet when you first meet me. I am a borderline Sci-Fi/Fantasy Fiction (esp the "vampire" genre...and, um yah, Star Wars!) geek who reads all the time! :)

• I have a tattoo. I got it a million years ago it seems. It is a tiny blue moon with stars on my right shoulder. No future body art is planned, although I have always wanted to get a Welsh Dragon tattooed somewhere and the Chinese symbol for love and patience. Hmm...

• I think I look the "coolest" when I have a blunt angled bob. I had this style for years and am contemplating growing out my bangs and going for this edgier look again. I can do edgy, but it looks more "cute with an edge". LOL, I have a bit of a "baby face" so I can only pull off "this much" edge. :)

• Edgy makeup? Hmm, probably the "coolest" makeup that I go for is in the realm of nail polish. I will pretty much wear any color, but tend to go for the wild colors on the toes. I LOVE glitter polish and love wearing glitter polish on my fingernails! Huge fan of glitter here!!! Other "cool" makeup looks that I go for are purples...purple toned lip colors are my faves lately!

Hello there my readers!

I hope you are all staying warm in this cold weather!!! I have been snowed-in for 2 days now with no heat! At least I still have power! So, the blogging can continue! lol!!! ;)

Well, I am very excited to announce that I am a featured blogger on mySkin.com!!! Click here on Blog Channel to reach my blog.

MySkin.com is an online skincare/beauty community that reminds me of a "facebook" for beauty/skincare! After joining the site, you can create a profile and invite friends. While joining you submit details about your skin type so that mySkin can customize your recommendations. There are tools on the site that help you to organize and post your skincare routine. MySkin.com generates product suggestions based on what you input. You can easily navigate through the tabs for the sites various functions: My Home (homepage), My Shelf (you can add your products here and your skincare routine), My Journal (I have not tried this yet), My Profile (can set it to private if you wish), and My Community (the Blog Channel is located here).

The Blog Channel (Found in the My Community Tab):

This is where you will find the links and previews of my blog. The blog channel's navigation reminds me somewhat of BlogLovin as it is a blog-reader. You can favorite certain blogs and create a favorites list for easy navigation of the blogs that you like to read. You can also rate posts and leave comments here. It is just another tool for blog reading and browsing. I like it and have even found some new blogs that I am now following! :)

Also included in the My Community Tab is a Discussion Forum where you can post topics or reply to other topics by mySkin members. I am a general fan of beauty message boards, so I am excited to check this out.

Just wanted to share the exciting news!!! If you join, find my profile on there and "be my friend"! My profile is listed as "Pammy". This is another nice way for me to connect with my readers! Also, don't forget to add my blog to your list of favorites!
