As much as I love my fancy scented body washes, there are certain times when nothing beats a good basic and gentle body wash that is formulated for my sensitive skin. When my allergies kick into gear, I have to cut back on all of my scents across the board and body wash is no exception. Plus, I have a son with Eczema. So, I am always looking for gentle products for him as well as products that are specifically formulated for people or kids with eczema.
CeraVe, a brand that I completely trust when it comes to products for sensitive skin, has recently released some new body washes: CeraVe's NEW Hydrating Body Wash and Eczema Soothing Body Wash.

NEW CeraVe Body Washes:
This is such a gentle and soothing body wash! CeraVe's Hydrating Body Wash is formulated with one of my favorite ingredients, hyaluronic acid, to attract moisture to the skin's surface. It also contains three essential ceramides to help repair the skin's protective barrier as well as emollients to moisturize and soften the skin. This is probably one of the most gentle and soothing body washes that I have ever used. As I have mentioned, my skin is somewhat sensitive. If I have any sensitivity reactions going on or if my allergies flare up, I switch up my routine and use all unscented products. That usually brings my alleriges back in check and soothes my skin. Most of the time I can use scented products, but there are certain times that nothing but unscented will do. Plus, there are times that I just want to use unscented body washes to not compete with other scents. Does that make sense? Either way, this is a fantastic body wash. It is a great daily staple for those of you with very sensitive skin and it is a fantastic body wash! It is non-comedogenic, non-irritating, and free of fragrance, soap, paragons, and sulfates.
This body wash is an ultra gentle formula that was developed by dermatologists to cleanse and calm extra dry, itchy, or eczema-prone skin. This formula is so gentle and soothing that I use it on my 2 1/2 year old toddler boy who has eczema. The moisturizing formula contains hyaluronic acid and creamides (like the Hydrating Body Wash) to help repair skin's protective barrier and attract moisture to the skin. It also contains omega oils for soothing dry and itchy/irritated skin. I have noticed that when I use a body wash or gentle cleanser on my son that is especially formulated for those with eczema, that his eczema flare-ups are much less frequent!

I wish we had CeraVe here. I like the brand but getting my hands on it always takes a LOT of effort and help from friends.
