Sephora and Lush collective haul! :)

Hello lovelies! Just a quick post to share some photos of some items I picked up at the Mall yesterday while Christmas Shopping! :)

These are some things that I will be testing and reviewing over the next few, just a "preview" of upcoming blog-post review items!

From Sephora:

Dior Diorskin Shimmer in Amber Diamond: beautiful is this powder. My first purchase from Dior. The packaging is LUXE!

I am so excited about this! The lovely Tanya Burr (my fav YouTuber) always uses this in her tutorials and this has been on my wish list for so long! I got emailed a Sephora Gift Card, so I was thrilled to pick this up yesterday with my gift card! Now, if only it could give me Tanya's beautiful skin!!! I am hoping! :)

Sephora Samples:

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer: I am venturing into liquid foundations (I normally wear powder foundation: MAC Studio Fix-which I love-but, winter is really drying out my, am investigating a few foundations), so I figured that I need to try out some primers too! Please let me know if any of you have any foundation recommendations! I am looking for a dewy finish light to medium coverage foundation that works well on dry skin.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation sample: This is another Tanya Burr recommendation. I am happy to have a sample to try it out! I almost hope that I don't like it as it is so expensive! LOL!

My freebie from my Sephora Insider Points: Make Up Forever HD powder!!! I am so excited to try this as I also just got the version by, stay posted for a comparison review!!! Yay!

From LUSH (my new fav store, can you tell!):

Saving Face Serum: My skin has been getting dry patches. I hope this helps! How unique...a serum in bar form! I will let ya'll know how I like it! :)

Manage Too Massage Bar: This is going in my Hub's Christmas stocking (shhh!!!)

Samples! Just some small facial soap samples: Auqa Marina and Fresh Farmacy

What do you all love from LUSH? I wanted to try a moisturizing toner too, but totally forgot when I was in the store!

Have a great day everyone!

You should check out the Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation! However, I only like it applied with a stippling brush- doesn't blend all that well with fingers for me. I love it with my Sonia Kashuk flat topped brush from Target though! Light to medium coverage with a dewy finish. Great on my dry skin!! Love it!

Oh and a primer I've been loving on my dry skin lately is the Covergirl Simply Ageless Primer with Olay serum! I can skin moisturizer in the morning when I use this!! Love it :)

Ashley-Thanks for the tips!!! I will def check out both of those items...I have heard good things about the Neut Healthy Skin...and had been wondering about that Covergirl/Olay Primer. Thanks!!! :)

Thanks Priscilla!!! :) So far I can tell you that I am LOVING that NARS Sheer Glow sample I got...the color Siberia is a *perfect* match for my skin...and such a nice finish! :) <3 ya too!

Great haul. I definitely want to try that Dior powder, have heard so many great things about it. Have you tried the MUFE HD foundation? Got a sample of it the last time I was in Sephora and I love it.

Thanks @FunnyFaceBeauty! :) I have not tried the MUFE foundation...I will have to get a sample of that as well next time I am in Sephora! Thanks for the tip! Am loving the Dior powder so far! :)

never bought at sephora or lush. I want to try the lip scrub though

The lip scrub is amazing!!! :) I actually need to do a "lip scrub treatment" tonight! A standout product by LUSH for sure! :)

The Clinique Almost make-up has the kind of coverage you were wanting, it's more than a tinted moisturizer and less than a full foundation. A little cheaper than the NARS too ;)

Tracy-thanks for the recommendation! This is great as I am getting so many ideas! :)

Now you've done it. I have to get Amber Diamond now. ARGH.

Unknown said...

@sugarbumpkin-LOL! I hear ya! Well, the upside here is that Amber Diamond is so nice, that you might not ever need another highlighter (so saving money in the long run...LOL, I know, that is a *stretch*, but trying to help you justify!!) ! I think that all my other highlighters will be neglected now. :) XOXO!
