Light as Air Moisturizer: NEW Olay Regenerist Whip (with SPF 25):
Have you heard of the NEW Olay Whip products? Yes! Olay has reformulated some of their best-selling moisturizers to now have a whipped texture. This is so exciting!
I have been an Olay fan and user for many years (literally decades). You guys know that I rotate products and try many new things. However, Olay is a brand that I always return to. So, Olay products have rotated into my skincare routine frequently over the years.
One product, in particular, has been a trusted product for me over the years: The Olay Regenerist Cream. So, when I saw that the Regenerist Cream is now available as a Whip product...and that they have one with SPF, I just had to try it!
I just love the texture of this product. The whipped formula really does give this moisturizer a light-as-air feel. It sinks into your skin quickly and leaves you feeling super soft and hydrated with no greasy finish. The Olay Regenerist Whip with SPF has the same anti-aging ingredients as the original formula and texture. It feels weightless and leaves you matte. It truely hydrates beautifully and works to smooth out fine lines and plump your skin while also protecting you from the sun. This is an amazing final touch in my morning skincare routine. I apply it after washing my face in the morning to my damp skin. Also, this is a great product to rotate into your skincare routine in the Spring and Summer! Perhaps you use a heavier moisturizer when it is colder and drier? Try switching to this product when you need something lighter but still need moisture (we all need moisture every day!).
The Olay Regenerist Whip with SPF 25 has "active rush technology" which transforms the product from cream to liquid on your skin for instant absorption. This skin-loving formula packs in hyaluronic acid, peptides, and vitamins to nourish your skin and keep it hydrated.
While I do love this product, I also have a wish. While the fragrance is nice, I do wish that it came in a fragrance-free version. Olay does offer various fragrance-free products. However, currently, none of the Olay Whip formulas are available fragrance-free. Also, the active sun protection ingredients are chemical sunscreens. Generally, I prefer the coverage and protection that I get from physical sunscreens. However, I must state that chemical sunscreens are more cosmetically elegant in that they leave no white cast and are generally nicer to apply. However, for those with extremely sensitive skin, they sometimes can irriate. Also, I do wish the SPF was a 30. However, SPF of 25 is usually adequate for my day-to-day moisturization and sun protection needs. However, if I know I am going to be outdoors for a few hours in a day, I use a higher SPF (and I reapply more often). This product retails for $29.99 at the drugstore. Now, that is a pretty steep price for a drugstore. However, watch sales as most drugstores offer really great discounts and sales!
More Olay Whips:
So, Olay has reformulated the Regenerist line and is now offering a whipped version in addition to their origional Regenerist products. The exciting news is that Olay is also offering whipped versions of their Luminous and Total Effects moisturizers, too! I am just going to have to try all of these! :) I really am loving this whipped texture! I would particulary like to try the Olay Regenerist Whip (without SPF) for nighttime use!
So, if you are already a fan of the Olay Regenerist line...or, if you previously liked Olay Regenerist but found it to be a bit too heavy, then you just have to try Olay's NEW Regenerist Whip products or their other whipped formulas! I am so loving the texture and feel of these moisturizers.
