21 Days of Beauty with Ulta Beauty: Today's Deal and More!

Who else is super excited about Ulta Beauty's annual and highly anticipated 21 Days of Beauty SALE? I know that this is a sale that I particularly look forward to each and every year. This sale typically highlights beauty bestsellers and features them at an amazing discount. So, if there are some highly coveted beauty items on your list, now is the time to try them! So, mark your calanders as there is a different item featured every day! The sale is month long, but there are some daily features that you certainly do not want to miss! 

I had an opportunity to try out a few items from this sale. So, I am going to share with you the items that I picked and my tips for using them! :)

Philosophy Purity Cleanser:

Ya'll, I have literally wanted to try this cult-classic cleanser for years. It is always mentioned as a beauty editor favorite for use with sonic cleansing devices. I tend to switch between using my Michael Todd Sonicare Elite, my FOREO LUNA, and using no device at all. I like my cleansers to be gentle on my skin and clean rinsing. Those are my main requirements for a cleanser. Plus, I do not like cleansers with harsh or irritating ingredients. I must say, this cleanser certainly does live up to its hype. It is super gentle and gives me a complete cleanse with a clean rinse without any dryness nor irritation. I find that it works equally effective no matter what device I use. I also like using it on its own without a cleansing device. This cleanser is an all-around win in my book! (this item was on sale Sept 6th for $15-normally $24: Sorry this sale date has passed! But there are many more items to look forward to!). 

Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel:

I am so happy to return to one of my favorite brow gels! I have used this one off an on for a few years and think it is fabulous. It is one of the strongest holding brow gels that I know of. Just swipe it through your brows to tame their direction and hold them in place all day long. This is a staple for anyone's makeup collection! Great news...it is on sale TODAY for only $11.00 (regularly $22).  

Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels:

Oh my poor tired eyes. I am super short on sleep, have a cold, and have hereditary dark circles. So, a cooling, firming, and soothing eye gel patch is absolutely just what I need! These feel *so good* on! These instantly soothe and refresh my eye area and just generally make me happy. I like that these can be put on at any time of day. You don't need to be doing a whole face-mask beauty routine to use these. Just slap these bad boys on any time you want to refresh your eyes. I feel that they leave my skin around my eyes looking smoother, more hydrated, and plumper. These are on sale for $30 on Sept 21st. If your tired eyes need a treat, be sure to check these out! I am obcessed!!!

Anastasia's NEW Bold & Beautiful Kit!

I am always excited when Anastasia Beverly Hills releases a new kit! Anastasia's kits are not only beautifully packaged and elegant, but also each kit seems to have its own "story" or "theme". These kits were just meant to be collected! They are that special. :) The elegant packaging almost always has a retro glamour vibe.

The new Bold & Beautiful Kit from Anastasia is both beautiful and extremely functional. The "theme"? This kit contains a pair of palettes that stack together like books! Even if you have enough space to store away all of your makeup, you are going to find that you want to set this kit out on display. Plus, I love that the set is sleek and compact enough that you could travel with it. That is always a plus! No bulky packaging here.

Anastasia's NEW Hypercolor Brow & Hair Powder: So Much FUN!!!

Have ya'll seen these new Hypercolor Brow & Hair Powders from Anastasia??? OMG! I adore these!!! Honestly, this is the most fun that I have had lately with playing with a new product! I am just pretty much obsessed with these! They are just totally fun!

Anastasia's new Hypercolor Brow & Hair Powders are vividly pigmented neon pressed shadow pigments for your hair or brows. You can give yourself fun, colorful, and trendy ombre/dip dyed hair in just minutes...without the worry of "will this wash out?"! The color impact is just insane! You get great color without the committment of permanent color.

The Shades:
I got to test out an assortment of shades from the Hypercolor Line. Here are the colors that I tested:

• In the Pink (Neon Pink)
• Electric Blue (Vivid Blue)
• Ultra Violet (Vivid Purple) Awwhhh! My Ultra Violet powder shattered during shipping. Oh well!
• Teal Tornado (Neon Teal)
• Mega Watt Green (Neon Chartreuse)

Holiday 2012 Preview: Anastasia Beverly Hills (Part 1): "I Want You to Want Me" Kit

The Holidays are just around the corner! What an exciting time of year not only just for the festivities, but also for the releases of all the new Holiday Makeup Kits!

Anastasia Beverly Hills has a beautiful lineup for Holiday 2012: The "Want You to Want Me" Kit and the "Kisses on my List" lipgloss set. I am so excited that I get to preview these items for ya'll! What better time than the Holidays to indulge in some pretty makeup! These kits have everything you will need for a complete and glamorous festive look!

Want You to Want Me is a kit within a clutch-like box featuring a removable palette with nine shadow shades, a mini clear brow gel, and liquid eye liner in jet black. Everything you need for beautiful neutral eyes! The Kisses On My List (Volume 2) lip gloss set including six luminous lip shades in a range of soft shades. The glam velvet packaging with rose gold detailing is totally luxe! The shadow names are a decadent nod to 1970's rock with names like: Power Ballad, Jellies, Platform Wedge, and Ziggy. So fun! But, don't think bold and crazy rockstar shadow: these are lovely and wearable neutrals that are very current!

New from Anastasia: She Wears It Well Palette (nude/neutral lovers take note!)

My goodness, do we all really *need* another neutrals palette? Um, well...if it is as good as this brand spankin' new one from Anastasia Beverly Hills...then, heck YES! I know, lol, I need another nudes palette like I need a kick in the head. I have the original UD Naked, the Naked 2, the Nude'tude palette, etc. You got the idea? Even if you already have a handful of Nude palettes, this new one from Anastasia is definitely worth checking out!

So, my Palette Princess palette review series continues with this review of the "She Wears It Well" palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills. My Palette Princess series speaks to the "princess" in all of us. We all want to find our perfect "princess pretty" moment with a palette that is close to perfect! When I think of Anastasia Beverly Hills, I think of great brow products. Well, this brand has got much more than that! Their new for Summer 2012 limited edition "See and Be Seen" Kit is a collection of products for your lips, eyes, *and* your brows. Plus, after seeing this cute little box, I just couldn't wait to dig inside! Ya'll know me. I am a total sucker for cute packaging. The good news: the products inside are just as pretty!

Have you ever tried Anastasia Beverly Hills products? If not, the "See and Be Seen" limited edition kit is a great way to try out a variety of items from this line or to stock up on items if you are already a fan!

Waterproof any Mascara with Lash Genius Waterproof Top Coat by Anastasia

Every once in awhile I test out a product that makes me think, "Now, why didn't I think of that?" Seriously, Lash Genius is a genius invention! It is a clear gel that waterproofs any mascara and/or makes your mascara super smudge resistant and long wearing! I am quite surprised that no one thought of this sooner? Or, if they did, I never heard of it (Ya'll correct me if I am wrong! There must be another water-proofer out there for lashes???).

Lash Genius Waterproof Top Coat by Anastasia Beverly Hills is a must-have summer item for any girl who loves to vacation by the water or just spend time by her neighborhood pool (like me!).

The Dilemma Solved: Waterproof or Non-Waterproof Mascara?
This product solves a "major" lash dilemma that I have every summer: You see, usually, I end up at the pool on a whim in the afternoon. This presents a problem as I apply my makeup first thing in the morning and I do not wear waterproof mascara on a day-to-day basis. So, many times, I end up at the pool with non-waterproof mascara...oops! With Lash Genius, I can just swipe on a layer over my usual mascara before heading out the door and I am good-to-go with waterproofed mascara! Plus, I don't have to buy a tube of waterproof mascara! I can just use Lash Genius Waterproof Top Coat over any mascara in my current rotation. True Genius!!!
