Napoleon Perdis's Nude Bar: Off Duty Tinted Moisturizer

New Product Launch: Napoleon Perdis's "Nude Bar"!
With "Naked"-type cosmetics being all the rage in eyeshadows these days, "nude" collections are popping up everywhere. This "nude" collection by Napoleon Perdis really caught my eye as its focus is on skin and lips rather than nude eyes.

This collection is currently on a "soft launch" on the Napoleon Perdis website and Napoleon Perdis Concept stores only. This Fall, the collection will launch nationwide everywhere Napoleon Perdis is sold (Ulta, Nordstroms, etc).  So, if you like staying ahead of the trends, go ahead and check out this beautiful nudes collection online and get a "jump" on Fall: Napoleon Perdis's Nude Bar.

Ready to Go to a "Nude Bar"?
LOL, I couldn't resist making some remark here re: the "Nude Bar" naming! Us makeup afficianados know that Nude is the "way to go". But, you might want to clarify your wording when referring to going online to a "Nude Bar".Tee-hee!
The Nude Bar Collection:
  • Off Duty Tinted Moisturizer
  • Devine Goddess Lipsticks
  • Double Agent Nude Lip Palette
  • Luminous Lip Veils
For this post, I will be reviewing Napoleon Perdis's new Off Duty Tinted Moisturizer. Stay tuned for future reviews for the Double Agent Nude Lip Palette and the Luminous Lip Veils.

Get Glowing! with The Body Shop and Lily Cole: Collection Launch and Glow Products

What happens when activist/model/actor Lily Cole and Body Shop get together for a makeup collaboration? A flirty, fresh, and totally cruelty-free makeup collection is born.

I have been a fan and supporter of the body shop for almost 2 decades (showing my age here!). Their Banana Shampoo/Conditioner and Oatmeal Scrub/Mask are two products that I almost always have in my bathroom. So, with all my Body Shop love, I am happy to try out their new makeup collection!

This limited edition collection with its girly packaging and get-glowing products is not one to be missed! These products are just as cute as a button!

This fun collection features:

  • A shimmery primer that looks like little pearls: Pearl Radiance Primer 22
  • Highlighting pearls with the cutest puff ever: Puff on Radiance
  • Liquid Eyeliner in a pretty and vibrant violet:$13.50
  • Lip and Cheek Domes (so cute!) in Pink me Pink and Crazy for Coral: $15.00.
  • Mini Hi-Shine Gloss: Available in Go Pink, Go Wild, Go Play, and Go Naked

Anastasia Beverly Hills: See and Be Seen Kit

When I think of Anastasia Beverly Hills, I think of great brow products. Well, this brand has got much more than that! Their new for Summer 2012 limited edition "See and Be Seen" Kit is a collection of products for your lips, eyes, *and* your brows. Plus, after seeing this cute little box, I just couldn't wait to dig inside! Ya'll know me. I am a total sucker for cute packaging. The good news: the products inside are just as pretty!

Have you ever tried Anastasia Beverly Hills products? If not, the "See and Be Seen" limited edition kit is a great way to try out a variety of items from this line or to stock up on items if you are already a fan!
The Skinny:
  • The "See and Be Seen Kit" retails for $44.00 (kit value is $80).
  •  It is available for a few more weeks at Sephora and Anastasia.net.

Drugstore Haul: Summer 2012 Revlon Escapism Collection Cream Blushes

I am sure that I have said it many times on this blog: Nothing beats Revlon! I am rarely disappointed when I purchase a Revlon item. It is so hard to pick a true favorite brand for drugstore products. I just like so many items from a variety of different lines (e.g. Cover Girl Mascaras, Wet n' Wild Shadows, Rimmel Polish, Milani Blushes, Neutrogena Lip Balms, etc!). But, I must say that across the board, Revlon is one of the best brands! Revlon glosses and lipsticks are my absolute fave (drugstore or high end!).

I was so excited to see the display for the new limited edition Revlon Escapism Collection! I mean, OMG, cream blushes!!! Yes, I am a blush enthusiast (read: blush freak!). I find that there never seem to be enough options for drugstore cream blushes. So, I am thrilled to see another major brand come out with cream blush! I am not sure if these will become permanent line additions? Does anyone know? I would love to see Revlon expand on these and add more colors!!!

The Escapism Collection has a bronzer, cream blushes, lipgloss, eye shadow, mascara, and nail polishes. The whole collection looks amazing; but, the cream blushes are what drew me in! With that said, I might go back for that matte bronzer that I passed up on my haul.
