Busy Mommy Lifesaver: Dry Shampoo!!!
As a stay-at-home Mommy of a brand new infant and a toddler, I need all the time-savers that I can get! While I have been able to save some time by paring-down my getting ready beauty routine, washing/drying/styling my super long hair is still a very time consuming process. Enter my lifesavers: Dry Shampoo!

How Does Dry Shampoo Save Time?
Dry Shampoo allows me to stretch out my hair washings from every/other day to every 4 days. What a time saver!!! Washing my hair less frequently adds hours of time to my week! Plus, washing less frequently means that I expose my hair to less styling damage. Therefore, in the long run, my hair will be all the better for it! Plus, dry shampoos are fabulous for adding volume to your hair. Really, using dry shampoos is a total win/win situation! :)

So, what Dry Shampoos are in my current arsenal? Here they are: Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fruity & Cheeky Cherry, Klorane's Dry Shampoo with Nettle, Aveeno's Pure Renewal Dry Shampoo, and Surface's Trinity Dry Shampoo. To find out a bit more about each of these amazing dry shampoos, please click "read more" below for my mini-reviews!

Here are the Dry Shampoos that are currently in heavy rotation in my bathroom. I really enjoy using each of these! I think I just have the type of hair that works well with most dry shampoos. My hair is not very oily. It is actually quite dry with just a bit of oiliness around the root area a few days after washing. Dry shampoos are a great way to freshen up my hair: they make my hair smell fresh and minimize the oiliness at the roots. Plus, my hair is blonde. So, I do not have to worry much about the white cast that some dry shampoos can leave.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Fruity & Cheeky Cherry:  This dry shampoo from Great Britain has quite the cult following. I can see why! It is affordable and it refreshes my hair while giving me nice volume. My hair looks, feels, and smells cleaner when I use this. Plus, I love the cherry powdery scent and the volume it gives is fabulous! :) I honestly have nothing but raves for this fabulous dry shampoo! ($7.99)
This dry shampoo from Great Britan has quite the cult following. So, I am excited that I have finally tried it! For me, it lives up to the hype. It is affordable and it refreshes my hair while giving me nice volume. I like going as long as I can between hair washings. Dry shampoos allow me to get up to 3 days in-between washings. Surface Trinity Dry Shampoo: This dry shampoo has some really unique ingredients! Unlike a lot of dry shampoos, Surface's Trinity Dry Shampoo does not leave you with that powdery look and feel. That means no residue! This dry shampoo is formulated with volcanic ash, ocean water, lemon extract, and Babassu oil. So, you get cleansing and freshening along with antioxidant protection, shine, and volume. Plus, it smells great and is made with organic ingredients!

Aveeno Pure Renewal Dry Shampoo: I have loved this Dry Shampoo for awhile now! Actually, it was one of my Spring Beauty Favorites from 2013! I still enjoy using this dry shampoo. I really like the refreshing scent! Plus, this dry shampoo is really great at tackling those 2nd and 3rd day oily roots. Plus, it is a bargain!

Klorane Dry Shampoo with Nettle: Klorane's Nettle line was specificially designed for people with oily hair. While I do not have oily hair, I need a dry shampoo to combat the slight oiliness that I get on my scalp when I haven't washed my hair for a few days. What is Nettle? It is a flowering herb that contains an enzyme that naturally works against oil! Works great to freshen hair and give some volume. I really like the fresh and light scent. Plus, it does not leave residue. A great option for dry shampoo!

As you can tell, dry shampoos are staple items in my weekly hair routine! What time savers!!! Are you a dry shampoo fan? What ones do you like? I am always looking for recommendations. :)

Are you on Luvocracy yet? It is my new favorite site! I am starting to make Luvocracy collections to go along with each of my blog posts! I love dry shampoo. I just bought the new Suave dry shampoo from their moroccan line and I love it and it is dirt cheap! I got it at Walmart and I think it was under $5.

I have a few dry shampoo bottles at home but so far I've used only Batiste. It's a great tool to use when I'm rushed for time!
