Hydration Sprays:

I *love* using hydration sprays immediately after cleansing my face to give myself a boost of moisture. So, I was super excited to try out one from Jane Iredale.

Jane Iredale offters 3 different hydration spray formulas: POMMISST, Balance, and D2O. These  hydration sprays each refresh and hydrate skin. In addition, they can conceal pores and fine lines when you use them as a quick setting mist after mineral makeup application for a smooth finish and long lasting hold.  They may also be used as moisturizers for oily skin (this is how I use them: immediately after cleansing for a moisture boost) or to wet makeup brushes and create precise lines.  

I got to try out the D20 Hydration Spray:

Jane iredale D2O Hydration Spray is a facial spritz based on Ylang Ylang that helps to hydrate, calm and protect the skin. The ylang ylang leaves an uplifting scent and has a balancing action on the secretion of sebum. It can be used to:

• Set minerals for a long lasting, smooth finish

• Soothe post-laser

• Wet makeup brushes to turn powder eye shadows into eyeliner

I also had the chance to try out Jane Iredale's Glow Time Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream in the shade bb1. I really enjoy using BB Creams as they are such great multi-taskers: they function as a facial moisturizer, sunscreen, and coverage in one!

I really enjoy the coverage and the feel of this BB Cream on my skin! Plus, SPF 25 is a perfect level of sun protection for me for an everyday basis. In the mornings I have been cleansing my face, following it with the Jane Iredale Hydration Mist, and then apply BB Cream after that. It is a super easy morning routine!

Natural Everyday Makeup with Burt's Bees: NEW BB Cream and Lipstick

The transition to the warm days of Spring and Summer has finally happened! With the shift to warmer days and relaxed and casual activities, my makeup needs a shift, too! While I usually do go with a rather natural look, I really lighten up and simplify even more when the weather gets warm. Summer days were meant for fuss-free makeup. 

Burt's Bees has some fantastic new products for fuss-free Summer makeup looks! I am especially loving their brand NEW BB Cream and their new Lipsticks!

Burt's Bees Lipsticks:

OMG! I am loving these new lipsticks from Burt's Bees. Specifically, I am adoring the shade #510 Iced Iris. It is such a beautiful and natural soft rose pink. It gives my lips lovely shine and moisture plus lovely pink color. These lipsticks are 100% natural and packed with moisturizing ingredients like Moringa Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil ,and Beeswax. The formula is very conditioning and gives you such a smooth satin finish. They have 14 shades. I need to try more! ;) 

Burt's Bees BB Cream:

OMG! This BB Cream is my new favorite!!! I absolutely adore the sheer and natural coverage. I would say the coverage is in-between a tinted moisturizer and a foundation. It is 98.9% natural and has SPF 15 protection. I wear the shade Light which actually works really well with my super fair skin. It lightly hydrates and smooths my skin while giving natural and sheer coverage. It gives me just enough to make my skin look better and disguise redness. Plus, it does not break me out and it boosts my SPF coverage and moisture. Plus, I love how light and fresh it feels on my skin. This is my new favorite BB Cream!!!
