Update Your Skincare Routine for The New Year with MyChelle Dermaceuticals:

Since this is the time of year that many people are trying new things, clearing out cabinets, and making resolutions, I thought it would be a great time for me to share a couple of my favorite items for a fresh new clean beauty routine for 2020!
This is an antioxidant-rich unscented mineral-based SPF daytime lotion for the face. It is so soothing and it leaves my skin hydrated and protected. Plus, it never breaks me out. I just love it! I like to wear it either on its own or mixed or layered with a tinted sunscreen for color.
I have a strong preference for mineral sunscreens and I always particularly like the ones that are a combination of Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide. This formula contains both. Also, it contains other nourishing ingredients like Aloe and Vitamin E to soothe the face and reduce signs of irritation while protecting the skin from the sun. I like that this daily SPF feels lightweight and absorbs quickly to leave a smooth, clear, and matte finish.
Key Active Ingredients:
- Titanium Dioxide 0.67%–PhysicallyshieldstheskinfromUV exposure, disperses damaging UV rays to limit photo aging, and creates an occlusive barrier.
- Zinc Oxide (ZinClearTM) 11.6% – A non-opaque Zinc Oxide that provides natural protection against both UVA and UVB rays.
- Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder – Assists in pain relief, reduces inflammation, rehydrates, and improves the skin’s natural UV absorption capabilities.
I am a big believer in wearing sunscreen *daily* and reapplying throughout the day. We must protect ourselves from the sun. I have lost a dear friend to melanoma and my Dad struggled throughout his life with constantly getting basal cell carcinomas removed. Prevention is the key!
I am trying to be more conscious about using Vitamin C in my skincare routine. I have always been good about SPF and using retionoids. However, I have not been as consistent with Vitamin C. So, my New Year's Skin resolution is to add more Vitamin C products into my daily skincare routine!
MyChelle's Perfect C Eye Cream contains powerhouse active L-Ascorbic Acid as well as Plant Stem Cells and Hyaluronic Acid and organic Shea Butter help combat the visible signs of aging. While Bilberry, Gotu Kola, and Cucumber Extracts soothe and help to protect skin against the environment.
This eye cream is gentle to my delicate and somewhat sensitive eye area. I feel like it hydrates and plumps and minimizes fine lines.
I like using this eye cream during the day for the Vitamin C benefit and also because I like using retinol eye creams at night. I like the consistancy of this eye cream as it layers nicely under my concealer. I also believe it might be brightening up my eye area a bit as I do know that Vitamin C can have a brightening effect. Overall, I love this eye cream and think it is a great everyday staple procut!
