It is time again for my monthly Simply Earth Essential Oil DIY Recipe Box Box Opening! 

As ya'll know, Essential Oils are my newest obcession. There is no question that the addition of essential oils to my everyday life has worked to enhance my environment and help me to manage stress and illness within my house. Initially, I just thought that I would enjoy the "scent your home" aspect of essential oils. However, the more I get into essential oils, and the more that I learn and explore, I realize that essential oils can do so much more for you than just smell pretty! Essential oils can do everything from helping you to manage your stress and emotions, to cleaning your house safely, to enhancing your sleep, to warding off illness. Essential Oils are so versatile and so fun to explore! The monthly Simply Earth Essential Oil DIY Recipe Box is a great way to explore essential oils a few oils and projects at a time. 

The world of Essential Oils can certainly be overwhelming for an oily newbie like me. Luckily, I have found some great resources online. Plus, my Simply Earth monthly Essential Oil subscription box has really taken the guesswork out of exploring and using essential oils. Their monthly box contains 4-5 full size essential oils and ALL the ingredients, supplies, and recipes for a variety of essential oil DIY projects every month.

If you are like me, you are constantly pinning ideas on Pinterest. But, honestly, how often do we actually make these DIY projects? lol, it is time consuming to go hunting around for all those supplies! Well, Simply Earth does all the legwork for you with their DIY box. Plus, I love the "surprise" element every month! I never know what oils might arrive. Since I am an oily newbie, I never know what oils to order when browsing online. Some of the "surprise" oils that have come in my Simply Earth boxes have become my total favorites...and, I would have never known to order them had they not come in my subscription box. Plus, the oils from Simply Earth are high quality pure oils. You are really getting top quality oils in your box. Seriously, my Simply Earth monthly box is pretty much my favorite thing ever!!! I am not even exaggerating! I get pumped when I know my box is coming and I honestly can't wait to dig in every month and explore and use my oils and get going with some fun DIYs!!!

April 2017 Box Opening:

This month's box has a "Spring Cleaning" theme! What perfect timing! Spring is upon us and what  better time to switch your cleaning routine from chemical to naturally based cleaners with essential oils!

Once again, Simply Earth has surprised and delighted me with some oils that have been on my wishlist, some favorites that I am happy to restock, and oils that are totally new to me. I almost always seem to find a new favorite oil when I dive into my monthly Simply Earth box.

Here are all of the details about what is inside this month's box:

• Essential Oils: Lemon Essential Oil (15 ml) 100% Pure Essential Oil, Cinnamon Essential Oil (15 ml) 100% Pure Essential Oil, Tea Tree Essential Oil (15 ml) 100% Pure Essential Oil, and Balsam Fir Essential Oil (15 ml) 100% Pure Essential Oil
• 2 Aluminium Spray Bottles
• 2 Recipe Label Stickers
• A variety of cleaning cloths
• empty 5 ml bottle for making a master blend (Clean Air Blend)
• Recipe Cards for: Furniture Polish, Surface Cleaner, Garbage Pail Pods, Clean Air Diffuser Blend, Tub and Tile Scrub, and Natural Room Spray

I have already made a few of the recipes and really love using them! They were so quick and easy to make using the provided supplies! As far as this month's oils, you are getting some really great basics in this month's box. I mean, I think that Lemon, Tea Tree, and Cinnamon essential oils are "must haves" for everyone's oil inventory. I do already have these oils, but am super excited to restock with these!!! I go through a TON of Lemon Essential Oil in my house as I always use it in cleaning blends. I am no stranger to using Essential Oils for cleaning. Even before discovering Essential Oils, I always used water and vinegar to clean...now I just add essential oil to my water/vinegar mix. Plus, I use other recipes for cleaners including Hydrogen Peroxide based cleaners, too. The "new" discovery for me in this month's box was the Balsam Fir Essential Oil! Thank you Simply Earth for expanding my Essential Oil knowledge. While this is not an oil that was on my wish list, it is a great addition to my Essential Oil arsenal!!! 

I absolutely adore this month's box and have become such a huge fan of Simply Earth! I feel like they make it so easy to use and explore essential oils. Plus, I no longer feel like I am pinning a ton of Essential Oil recipes and never making them, lol. With having all the supplies at hand, I can whip out an Essential Oil DIY in no time at all.

Plus, it must be said that the quality and purity of the Simply Earth Essential Oils is just amazing! All of the oils are 100% pure Essential Oil. I trust this brand and know that I am getting great quality. I really enjoy exploring new oils that I might not have explored otherwise.
