My Tired Eyes need a Perk Up: Help for my Eyes and Lashes from Shiseido!
As I have often told ya'll, my eyes are my biggest beauty trouble spot. I was unfortunately "blessed" with hereditary dark under eye circles. When I compound that with my allergies and general lack of sleep (I am a Mom of 2 kids under 3), the result is super dark under eye circles. This time of year is particularly difficult for my poor eyes as Fall's annual ragweed season has left my eyes super irritated watery and red. Searching for great products to combat my eye issues is a driving force behind my blog. So, whenever one of my favorite beauty brands comes out with eye products, I am all over it!
Shiseido's NEW Fall Launches:
Shiseido has a great new lineup of products for Fall 2015! I, of course, gravitated towards the products for the eye area. So, I recently had the opportunity to sample:
  • Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate: follows the successful launch of Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate, which is sold every 18 seconds worldwide. Ultimune Eye targets the function of Langerhans cells to boost skin immunity and strengthen the delicate skin around eyes, leaving them smooth, resilient and glowing with fewer lines and wrinkles.
  • Full Lash Serum: promotes visibly full, dense lashes and brows with restorative ingredients that also target dryness, breakage and thinning problems at the root to prevent future damage. The serum was so highly coveted when it launched last year in Japan that it sold out almost immediately, creating an unprecedented wait list!

Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate:
My eyes love this stuff! This is a super soothing and hydrating anti-aging eye serum. The eye serum has a gel-like texture. It is nice and smooth going on. I like how it feels like a thick gel. It does not feel at all greasy nor heavy. While it can be layered underneath eye cream, I actually find that for this time of year (the early Fall), this serum alone is enough hydration for my eyes. I will likely add an eye cream on top of this serum when it gets colder. This serum can be used morning and night. However, I like using it at night only the best. I feel that this eye serum has drastically smoothed out my eye area and has really plumped up the skin. I am thrilled with the results! Plus, this serum is so gentle and soothing to my eye area. I am a huge fan of this product and am thrilled to have it as a part of my current skincare routine! If you are looking for a gentle anti-aging eye serum to smooth out your fine lines while packing in hydration, be sure to check this one out!
I love adding an entirely need product category to my skincare routine: an eyelash serum! Note: This is a first impressions review only as I have not tested it long enough to experience long-term results. I will fully admit to being new to using a lash serum. My lashes are very skimpy. They are thin, sparse, short, and light. Needless to say, they need some "oomph"! While I do not expect miracles with a lash serum, I do hope to get some benefit! This lash serum is formulated with ingredients like Arginine to restore the condition of your lashes or brows. This serum is easy apply. It has a lipgloss-like doe foot applicator. You just swipe it onto your lashline after your skincare routine is complete in the evening. It is quick and easy to use. Now, I will admit, I have only been using this product for a few weeks. So, there are no major results yet. However, I have had little to no shedding of lash hairs. So, really, that alone really is an improvement! I also feel that my lash hairs are looking more healthy/shiny and possibly more full. I will check back in with you all in a few weeks to let you know if I experienced any more improvements! Most of the results quoted on the Shiseido site notes 8-16 weeks for improvements. :)

Have you seen any of these items at the Shiseido counter? What other new items are you scoping out for Fall?
