POPSUGAR Must Have Box: August Box Opening!
It is only my first POPSUGAR Must Have box, and I am already in love! Not only is the assortment of items fabulous, but you can just tell that everything is of very nice quality. This is certainly a box that caters to those who like higher-end/good quality products. Sure, this subscription is a bit more expensive than your standard beauty sample box...However, you are getting full sized products and items here in the POPSUGAR box that are super-duper nice! 

The Box Itself:
The box itself is pretty nondescript. There is no fancy packaging here nor bells and whistles. The box is just a pink and white shipping box and the items inside are neatly and well-packed with tissue paper and bubble wrap. I feel that without any "fancy" packaging, it really just makes the items stand out on their own. Also included: an information card from POPSUGAR that gives details about all of your items. I really appreciate boxes that include extra info on the items inside. As a product researcher at heart, I always want to know more details!

What is inside the box?

• Kendra Scott | Elisa Necklace in Black Cat's Eye (retails for $50): Um, hello...WOW! Bam, right off the bat, here is a $50 item. No question this box is an amazing value now, right?!?! Plus, OMG...as much as I *love* jewelry, I rarely treat myself to it. I think I might have literally squealed when I opened this box to find a piece of jewelry. Seriously, this piece is beautiful. It is delicate, feminine, and understated. It is the type of jewelry that I can wear everyday. This piece really is an instant classic that I can enjoy wearing for years to come. Plus, it is wrapped in a lovely teal Kendra Scott jewelry bag. I love these bags for both travel and jewelry storage.

• Paddywax | Ocean Tide + Sea Salt Mini Jar Candle (retails for $10): I always appreciate a candle! Not only do I love getting candles for myself, but also they are the gift item that I buy most often for other people. Candles are just...nice! This one is housed in a pretty antique-looking teal blue mini mason jar. I am digging the "Pinterest" look of all-things Mason jars lately. So, I am happy to add this one to my house! I already have a spot for it in our media room. This scent really is reminiscent of the ocean. Fresh and pleasant! It is a scent that has a unisex appeal. Love it!

• Goodbyn | Purple Meal and Dipper Set (retails for $8.00): Yes, even lunch containers excite me. I am being serious! My toddler just started Preschool for the first time ever last week (sniff! sniff! Growing up too fast!). So, I am all about packing cute lunches for her! Plus, for my husbands job, he is in his car throughout the day. I like packing snacks for him, too. This container is perfect for on-the-go lunches! It has a solid construction: very sturdy. The inside houses 2 separate compartments and one of which has a smaller removeable "dip" area that has its own lid. I picture this as a perfect container for items like hummus, pita, and baby carrots...or apples, peanut butter, and pretzels. Not only is this a great item, but also it is an item that is going to get almost daily use during the week!

• The Mason Jar Cookie Company | Celebrate Cookie Mix (retails for $12.00): Like I just mentioned above, I am kinda Pinterest-obcessed with Mason Jar ideas (I actually have a Mason Jar Pinterest DIY board, if you want to follow me!). No, this is not actually in a Mason jar, but the cute packaging makes it look like it is! Cookie mixes are my best friends. My family goes through cookies like crazy every week. As much as I would always love to bake homemade from scratch, mixes are a nice half-way point...the cookies have homemade taste, but are total timesavers! You just add butter and egg to the mix-easy peasy!!! 

• Lollia | At Last Perfumed Shower Gel (retails for $22.00): Shower gel is another item that I can never seem to get enough of! I love finding beautifully scented shower gels so that my entire bathroom and bedroom smells good after my shower. The scent of this Lollia shower gel is just lovely: a clean and refreshing light scent. Looking forward to using this!

• Bite Beauty | Lush Fruit Lip (retails for $22): I have been wanting to try Bite Beauty! They really are known for fabulous lip products. This shade, in particular, was created for POPSUGAR's 2nd birthday! The formula contains strawberry, coconut, and avocado oils. What a pretty pink! I am going to love wearing this. :)

• Special "Extra": thinkThin | Brownie Crunch High Protein Bar: I always appreciate foodie extras in my subscription boxes. This Protein Bar is delicious...yes, I am eating it now (I couldn't resist!). 20 grams of protein and 0 grams of sugar: impressive!
