Don't you just love Spring?!?! The change of season brings about not only fabulous weather, but also beautiful color collections and fresh new scents from the beauty brands! Laura Mercier's April launch for Summer 2013 features an Aztec-influenced color story and some deliciously decadent scents! Introducing the Laura Mercier Folklore Collection!
This new color collection's influences stems from the Aztecs and their rituals, symbols, jewelry, and artifacts. Laura conceptualized a mosaic of color that embodies fire and earth. The combined use of the products creates an overall bronzed look that is gorgeous and natural for Summer! Other stand-outs in Laura Mercier's new Spring/Summer product lineup? An extension of Laura Mercier's Ambre Vanille Body Collection, a Limited Edition Trio of Fragrance Sprays, New Custom Palette options, and a Travel Candle trio.

- Baked Blush Bronze (NEW, Limited Edition) in "Ritual": Unique formula is a melange of five colours that are hand mixed and then baked on a tile. It provides a hint of natural bronze colour that works very well on all skin tones. $38
- Illuminating Eye Colour (NEW, Limited Edition) in "Sun Glow", "Fire Glow", and "Earth Glow": These products contain the same great formulation as found in the recent Art Deco Muse colour story. However, these feature a new design chosen by Laura, which is evocative of the tribal influence of the collection. $24

Soft and Fresh Romantic Scents for Summer!
Have you tried Laura Mercier's Bath & Body products or Fragrance? OMG! I am obsessed!!! I find the scents to be so soft and warm. They are comforting and romantic scents with an underlying sensuality. The fragrances in this Summer Collection are easy to wear and perfect for the warm weather of Summer!
La Petite Patisserie Eau de Courmande Fragrance Coffret:
This is a Limited Edition cutely packaged trio of Laura Mercier's best-selling Gourmande Fragrance Sprays. The set is packaged in a cute gift box. The bottles themselves are small, simple, and elegant. They feature a spray top and contain .5 fl oz of fragrance each. They are certainly small enough to be perfect for travel! I like that these have spray tops versus roller balls. For some reason, I just prefer putting fragrance on by spraying it.
The set contains Laura Mercier's Best Selling fragrances: Vanille, Almond Coconut Milk, and Fresh Fig. The scents are warm and inviting yet also are quite fresh and light. I like that these are food scents that do not go on overly sweet. They are just warm and delicious!
I love how these scents compliment each other. While they smell amazing on their own, they also work very well together when you layer the scents together. My favorite of this group is the Fresh Fig. This scent is amazing and it just immediately drew me in. The Almond Coconut Milk fragrance is going to absolutely be perfect for those hot days of Summer. I love that it smells of coconut without being overly tropical like so many other coconut scents out there. Vanille is actually a scent that I like to wear a bit better in the cold weather. We have had such a cold Spring this year! So, I wore this one quite a bit before the weather warmed up. Like all of these scents, Vanille is rich and warm without going overly sweet. If you are looking to explore some warm and inviting scents, these are great options! Plus, they are such a value at $45 for the set.

Laura Mercier's Body & Bath line is so luxurious! I have long been a fan of Laura Mercier's Ambre Vanille Honey Bath. So, I am excited that I can now layer this Ambre Vanille Body Butter on after my Honey Baths! This Body Butter is super thick, rich, and luxurious. I like to use all over my body after a bath or shower or throughout the day as a hand cream. The scent is so decadent and inviting! The Body Butter's formula contains Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Esters, Honey, and Aloe Vera.
Laura Mercier's Ambre Vanille line includes an Eau Gourmand Fragrance, the Body Butter, a Hand Cream, the Honey Bath, and a Creme Body Wash. The Ambre Vanille Body Butter comes in a 6 oz tube for $35.

Ambre Vanillé Eau Gourmande sounds heavenly.
You accidentally put down $150 for the hand cream. I'll be getting this or the body lotion if found in Canada, so I had to check the price. :)
@mousewings-I will have to check on that price for you! As far as I know, from the press release from Laura Mercier, that hand cream really is $150. I just emailed them for verification and will let you know soon! :)
