Where am I? Moving House!

Nothing to Disclose

Hello lovelies! Just a quick post to let ya'll know what I am up to! I am in the process of moving house. Those of you who have moved recently know what a long and stressful process this can be. The packing, the unpacking, the timing, organizing, decorating, etc! For the sake of my own sanity, I am going to take a 2-week "break" from blogging to give me time to move and get settled in my new home. I am going to do my best to keep up with emails and social media during that time. However, there will be a few days that I will be offline completely. So, if you are trying to reach me, just give me some time to respond. :) While I am on my "blogging break", I have scheduled a few guest posts from my friends in the beauty blogging community. So, be sure to keep checking back for those posts to give my guest-bloggers some support!

Note for PR Agents and Brands:
If you are sending me a package, please verify my address first. Also, please update your records with my new address.

See you soon!
XOXO!!!

Outfit of the Day: Shopping Day in new Skirt

Hello Dolls!

You may have noticed some blog renovations today on PBB? Christine from 15 Minute Beauty Fanatic has been busy with adding category tabs and revamping the layout. What a great friend!!! I owe much of my blogging success to her! She is always a source of personal wisdom for me: be it just someone to bounce ideas off, get help with tech stuff, or great tips on surviving pregnancy or new motherhood. Be sure to head on over to 15 Minute Beauty to check out her amazing blog!

I love the new look! Plus, I think the tabs under the banner will help ya'll to browse posts by category. I like this feature and hope that you will too!

In the category tabs, you may notice the "Of the Day" tab. What is that you say? Well, I am hoping to add more posts that feature "Nails of the Day" (NOTD), "Outfit of the Day" (OOTD), and "Face of the Day" (FOTD). I will kick that off with today's OOTD!!! :) After 9 months of pregnancy and the first few months at home with the baby, I am finally starting to get my pre-baby shape back (yay!). So, this has really inspired me fashion-wise!

This blog will primarily remain a beauty blog. But, I think that sharing my OOTDs will be a great way for me to occasionally write and share a bit more about my day-to-day life! :)
Here is what I wore today for a fun girls day shopping with an old friend, my baby, and her baby. We hit a local outdoor mall for window shopping (and of course a Margarita!).

Baby Phat Zig Zag Maxi Skirt
Find it a Macy's. $54 (full price, sale $44)

Also pictured:
Old Navy Tank Top (last season)
Oka-b Flip Flops "Lucy"
Michelle watch
Forever 21 Bracelet

What a fun afternoon! This skirt is easy to wear and I love the color.
Hope ya'll are having a great Thursday!

Happy Valentine's Day!!! Valentine's presents (Sephora haul), gifts, etc

Happy Valentine's Day to my beautiful readers!!!

Just a quick post to let ya'll know how much I love and appreciate you *all*!!! Thanks so much for joining me on my blogging journey!!!

My husband and I have been celebrating Valentine's day all weekend! I feel so lucky to be married to the best man ever!!!

After work on Friday, a dozen Red Roses were waiting for me...complete with a talking "Twilight" Valentines Day card (lol, love it!!! Does the Hub know me or what!?!?). Friday night we wanted to have a movie "date night" with a romantic comedy (one of my fav genres). So, we went to see "No Strings Attached" with Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman. OMG, it was LOL funny and so good! (yes, I now have an Ashton Kutcher crush as well, tee hee!).

Going shopping! :)

Saturday was our "Valentine's Day"! We went shopping, exchanged some gifts, and had a romantic evening at home (all the food was prepared by my Hub Erik, he rocks with the cooking! LOVE a man that cooks!!!). Erik totally spoiled me this year! So, I am sharing some photos of my gifts: Roses, Twilight card (see above), Michele watch (wow!), and he took me to Sephora to pick out a Clarisionic!!!

Here we are about to enjoy our dinner (and notice Erik on his new Macbook Air, his V-day gift!).

Here are some V-day treats (Lush!) that I am going to give my Mom. We are heading over to my parent's house today for a little Valentine's Day lunch. :)

I hope ya'll have a great V-day!!! XOXO!!!

Random Holiday Fun at the St. Regis! "My Life" (pic heavy)

The little tiny ice rink!

Hello there my dear readers! This is a random "My Life" post. :) While this is primarily a beauty-blog, I can't resist occasionally posting "fun stuff" from my life. Because, well, life is beautiful! :)

Living in a large Urban area, there are just so many attractions around town and fun events! Especially this time of year. So, you will sometimes (but, probably infrequently) see posts on this blog about these various "fun" events that I go to in the city.

So, last night we went to the fabulous St. Regis for a holiday Ice Skating party. The St. Regis has transformed their 6th floor balcony into an ice rink. It was so beautiful!!! The rink had a organza ceiling decked out in twinkle lights. The staff was there for us with champagne and eclairs. Yum!!! We had a great time skating. LOL-thank God that I didn't fall! I had not skated since I was little...and, well, a glass of champagne doesn't help the balance either! ;)

But, I must say my fav part of the evening was most unexpected! As we entered the St. Regis, I said, "Mmm, it smells so good in here! Like Gingerbread." That was when I discovered that they had a Life-sized gingerbread house in the Lobby. This Gingerbread house was *amazing* (and smelled amazing too) It was created by the pastry chef at the St. Regis. See the photos below for all the "stats" about this house. We got to walk inside and take pictures.

Yes, a real-live Gingerbread house!

Standing inside the Gingerbread house.
Everything was edible!

Me and my Hub!

As a dog-lover, you gotta love the gingerbread dog house
and little gingerbread dog!

Here are the stats! Amazing!!!

What can I say but "fabulous"! It certainly isn't every day that I go to events such as these! The St. Regis is pretty new to my city, and I must say, they sure do everything with style!

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed the pics and a small glimpse of my life! :)

Just some fun Halloween photos!!! :) (picture heavy post)

Halloween was so fun this year! We just got a few people together and headed out to my friend Susie's annual Halloween Bash. We had a blast! Here are some pictures! I am "Alice in Wonderland"....and you must note...the Bunny is my PURSE...lol! Yes, there was a pocket in the back just big enough for a lipstick, my phone, ID, and some cash. My bestie is dressed as Amy Winehouse....and the "doctor" is my Hub! :) Wish I had a better close up of my makeup! I used the Enchanted Glamourland palette for my eyes and cheeks.

Enjoy the photos! :)

Bestie is Amy Winehouse...and I am "Alice"...joined by a Pirate (Carla) and a Referee!

Me and the "Hub"...a doctor! LOL! :) You can kinda see my makeup here...

Okay, I know this one is blurry...but, you can kinda see the makeup here,
and you can tell how much fun we are having!!! :)

Me n Susie at her Party...she's a devil...

Me and Tiffany... the "flapper"

Hope you enjoyed seeing the pictures! Fun night!!! Can't wait for Halloween next year already!
XOXO!
