I certainly try out a LOT of beauty sample boxes and let me tell you, the L'OcciBox Box is extremely well done! Plus, I am totally going to re-use/up-cycle this cute box for something! :)

I tried out a couple of the sets and think they are beautiful: well selected products, lovely scents, great value, and beautifully packaged! From fragrance, to skincare, to bath & body products, I am sure you will find something!

L'Occitane's NEW Peony Collection: 
This is re-launch and re-envisioning of L'Occitane's popular and classic Peony Flower (Pivione Florale) fragrance into a new complete collection of fragrance, skin perfecting, and body care items. The packaging was re-designed and L'Occitane cosmetics (yes, makeup!!!) is introduced with this range! :) 

This fragrance and collection focuses on the perfection of the rare and lovely Peony flower. The plant-based products contain L'Occitane's proprietary Peony Perfecting Complex (patent-pending). This includes peony extract as well as mineral-based correctors. 

Key Ingredients:

• Peony Extract: derived from the bulb of the plant, this extract helps to visibly correct skin texture irregularities.
• Hyaluronic Acid: actively works to hydrate and help plump the skin.
• Chestnut Extract: helps reduce the appearance of complexion irregularities and promote a fresh glow.
• Mineral-Based Pigments and Pearlizers: multi-dimensional pigments use light-reflecting properties to minimize the appearance of imperfections while pearlizers give skin a translucent rosey glow. 
• Natural Powders: delivers and instant smoothing effect on the skin.  

I tried a few items from this new collection. I adore the fragrance and have really been loving the skincare/makeup additions! :) 

• Pivione Sublime Perfecting Mist ($24): This mult-purpose hydrating mist can be used at any time of the day for a boost of hydration: after cleansing as a toner (love using it this way!), as a setting spray after makeup application, and throughout the day as a refresher! The formula moisturizes "up to 8 hours". I do find it very hydrating and soothing to use. 

• Pivione Sublime Tinted Lip Balms ($16 each): Yes, L'Occitane has makeup in this collection. Yay for tinted lip balms! Four shades are available: Rose, Amber, Plum, and Sheer. They are gorgeously packaged and super slim and sleek for easy carrying (I always end up sticking lipbalms in pockets and such). Added bonus? SPF 25 included which makes these perfect for Summertime wear! 

• Pivione Flora Fragrance Eau de Toilette ($50): This is such a light, fresh, and ultra feminine fragrance. From the gorgeous packaging to some of my favorite fragrance notes (Freesia and Peony with Musk), this is a girlie flirty treat to wear. Top Notes: Black Currant, Bergamot & Pink Pepper. Heart Notes: Peony & Freesia, and Base Notes: White Musk, Sandalwood & Peach.  

There is no doubt, L'Occitane has a gorgeous assortment of new items and special edition gift sets that would be perfect for Mother's Day!
