Mother's Day Gift Guide: Fragrances for Mom!

Still shopping for Mother's Day? I have some more great ideas for you! This edition of the Mother's Day Gift guide is all about Fragrance! I have found some new release and special edition boxed set fragrances that are sure to be a hit with Mom! Let me tell ya'll, I do try out a lot of fragrances. Not only do I try them out in consideration for blog feature, but also I am just a fragrance fanatic! I am a bit obcessed with finding scents that can go into the running for being my "signature scents". Even though I rotate fragrance very frequently, I do have a few stand-out perfumes that are just "so me".

Katy Perry Killer Queen Spring Reign: This is the brand new version of Katy Perry's best selling Killer Queen (which I also love). This fresh light and sweet floral is such a pretty scent and, as the name suggests, it is perfect for Spring! This limited edition scent opens with notes of pink freesia, violet petals and cassis. Heart notes of natural davana, gardenia and May flower rose balance out the woody base of cashemeran and cedarwood oil. Plus, can I just mention how cute this bottle is?

Top: Pink freesia, violet petals, cassis buds
Heart: Natural davana, gardenia, may flower rose
Base: Benzoin resinoid, cedarwood oil, cashmeran

Guess Dare Limited Edition: This scent is so good! This scent is fresh, floral, and fruity while also being woody and sexy. I have always liked GUESS's scents and this one might be my favorite from the brand! This tempting scent opens with juicy grapefruit and crunchy lady apple. Middle notes of pink jasmine and pear blossom balance out the bottom woody notes of sheer cedarwood, white musk and a touch of vanilla.

Top notes: crisp kumquat, pear blossom, lime flower
Middle notes: living Palm Springs cactus flower, jasmine, wild rose
Bottom notes: blonde woods, living Key West coconut palm

Jessica Simpson Signature: 

Oh wow, this scent is *so me*!!! This is my first time trying a Jessica Simpson fragrance, and I must say, I am completely impressed! This is one of my new favorite overall scents. Seriously! This fragrance is totally in the running to becoming one of my personal "signature scents". While I love a quite a variety of perfumes, by far, my favorite scents are musky, sexy, woody, and/or vanilla-infused gourmand scents. While this scent is described as a floral, there is enough vanilla and sandalwood amongst the floral and citrus notes to make it complex and sexy.  I really love it! Plus, it dries down to be a very light and easy to wear for everyday fragrance. Plus, can I just mention that I love Jessica Simpson! I think she has proven herself to be a very smart and savvy business woman. See, you can be a bombshell blonde and rock the business world, too! Sorry, I digress, back to the scent description: 

The heart of the fragrance is a romantic floral bouquet of frangipani, night blooming jasmine, orange flower and tiger lily. Warm, satisfying dry notes of white chocolate vanilla bean accord, sandalwood, tonka bean and drift wood round out the natural beauty of this harmonious signature scent.

Inis The Energy of the Sea Travel Pack Set:
Inis is one of the first scents that I reviewed on my blog! It is still a favorite scent of mine. So, I am happy to cycle back to it with this gift set!
