Are ya'll ready for a Makeup War? Today I bring you a special Brand Feature Edition of Makeup Wars with Eddie Funkhouser Cosmetics!

We are doing something a bit different than our usual Makeup Wars. We were all sent a product assortment from Eddie Funkhouser to try out. As you scroll through our posts, you can see how these products work for a variety of women with different skintones and cosmetic tastes!

I have been a fan of Eddie Funkhouser Cosmetics since their inception a couple years ago. However, it had been awhile since I had tried anything from the line. So, I was super excited when they sent me an assortment of lippies! I have gone through quite a transition lately. Historically, I have not really been a lippie-obcessed beauty-lover. I am more of a "blush girl". However, ever since my latest makeup de-cluttering, I have been very into lipsticks and lipglosses! I tossed so many old products and realized that I really needed to explore what colors looked good on my lips and what shades I wanted to purchase and add to my collection. After years of opting for either pale pink or natural/neutral lips, I find that I am gravitating towards vibrant pinks and even reds (OMG, I know...me loving red lips, who knew?). As I mentioned, I think it is a variety of factors at work: re-vamping my collection, discovering new makeup trends, and also a lighter hair shade (I am blonder and vibrant lips just perk up my look all around!).
So, without further a-do, lets dive into my gorgeous new Lippies from Eddie Funkhouser!!! Click "read more" below to get the scoop!

What a fun assortment of lippies! From lip gloss to lipstick from creme to sparkle, there is really a very nice range here. Here are the items I tried out and some more information about each formulation. However, before diving into all of that, can we just take a moment to delight in the gorgeously sleek packaging? I love the sleek, simple, and elegant packaging design.

Hyperreal Nourishing Lip Color:
This is Eddie Funkhouser's twist on the classic lipstick with an added boost of hydration, smooth and lightweight finish, and fabulously intense pigment! I tried out the shade "Rumor" which is a gorgeous and rich Black Cherry.

Chromographic Lip Color:
The Chromographic Lip Colors contain light reflecting particles for mulch-diminesional effects. Think "luminous" not "sparkly". Plus, I find the formula to be comfortable and hydrating. I tried the shade "Strip Search" which is a gorgeously bright Magenta Pink. OMG! This is exactly the type of shade that I have been obcessed with lately...bold, beautiful, bright lips! I am really, really loving this lippie. It is so fun to wear! It really is a "pick me up" type color! :)

Hyperreal Nourishing Lip Gloss:
This lightweight, hydrating, glossy, and non-sticky formula is so nice to wear! I got quite an assortment of shades and finishes: Belle de Jour (Hot Fuschia Pink: Possibly my fav of the group since I am into the vibrant lips lately), Girl Gone Bad (Mauve Berry: This is a go-to everyday lip shade for me. Easy and classic to wear!), and Stolen Kisses (Dusty Pink Sparkle: On me it is almost a sheer looking shimmery shade. It is super pretty to wear on natural makeup days. This will be a perfect lippy for my "undone" Summer looks!).

While my focus today with Eddie Funkhouser has been lips, this brand has a full range of cosmetic products: from face, to eyes, to lips, to cheeks...and even brushes, this cosmetics line has everything you need for a full face from start to finish. I can't wait to explore this line further! What do ya'll love from Eddie Funkhouser? I know that I am eyeing those brushes! They look fab! :)

Be sure to check out my fellow Makeup Wars blogger's Eddie Funkhouser posts! Lets find out what they are loving from this fabulous line! :)
