Adovia Exfoliating Facial Salts:

Looking for the most basic scrub ever? You may want to consider Adovia's Exfoliating Facial Salts. These are pure salts that you can use for facial and body exfoliation. Sometimes something so simple is effective...you just need to use these *very* gently because using a salt as a scrub is a very, very strong exfoliant on your skin. 

This jar of salt is HUGE! 12.3 oz of fine grain loose Dead Sea salt. Again, these are not mixed with anything. It is 100% Dead Sea salt. Actually, the jar is packed so full that product spilled out when I opened it. 

As a Facial Scrub:

The concept is simple...you can either use the salt directly on wet/freshly cleansed skin or mix with your favorite facial cleanser to give it an exfoliating boost. I find that it is a bit too abrasive for my sensitive skin when I use it as pure salt directly on my skin. So, I prefer to mix a very tiny amount into my usual cleanser. There is no question that this is a very strong scrub that will very effectively exfoliate your skin. I just caution you to use it very gently! Just lightly move your fingers across your skin with the scrub granules. With my sensitive skin, I can only use this about once a week (and even so, I need to take caution to "scrub" very, very gently). 

As a Body Scrub:

For my sensitive skin, I feel that this product is better suited, for me, as a body scrub. Actually, I adore using this for the body! I like to self-tan. So, good body exfoliation is something that I do in the shower every few days. Just add a bit of these salts to your regular shower gel to turn it into a super-effective body scrub!
