Hand cream is an absolute essential in my life. I am a busy stay-at-home Mom with an adorable 6 month old and a cute and busy toddler. Not only do I have two in diapers, but also I am busy running the house...from cooking to cleaning to everything else, my hands certainly take a daily beating. So, naturally, I turn to ultra rich hand creams to smooth and repair my hands. 

It is such a treat to try out such a luxurious product! Washing my hands and using hand cream is an everyday occurrence for me. Typically I use just whatever hand cream I happen to have around or I use my body creams and body butters. I have found that I absolutely must follow up my hand washing with a cream. Otherwise, my hands get dried out terribly. So, to test out this product, I simply put this hand cream right next to my sink in the kitchen (where I wash my hands most often) and began using it after all hand washings. Let me tell you, this simple act has really improved my hands! The skin on my hands is looking and feeling so soft and nice.

This shea butter-based hand cream from Perlier is super rich and hydrating. The cream is very rich and thick like a body butter. I like how it moisturizes so well without feeling greasy. It has an almost silky feel to it. It plumps out my skin and gives it an instant boost and a nice sheen. I like to dab a little extra around my cuticles to moisturize them.

Besides the soothing and emollient ingredients, the other most notable feature about this product is its heavy floral scent. Now, depending on where you stand with floral scents this might be a plus or a minus for you. I find that I really do enjoy the rose-like scent. However, I do wish it was a tad lighter.
