My Skin Background:
While I do not have any major lines or wrinkles yet, I sure want to prevent them! As I am in my late 30's, I do have a few fine lines cropping up here and there. I find that they are more visible and apparent when my skin is dry and dehydrated. I rarely break out. Yet, it does happen. When I break out, it tends to be either on my chin or around my nose area. My skin is generally even toned; but, I do have a few stray dark spots remaining after pregnancy. My pores are particularly big (especially in the t-zone). My skin seems to really love this serum! After testing for about 4 weeks, I really seem improvements in my skin.
StriVectin's packaging is incredibly basic aesthetically. Actually, I find these products to be packaged to look like topical prescription medication. Just the basics: White bottle, black lettering, and some pink accents. The packaging is completely no-frills. The Power Serum for Wrinkles is in a pump tube. Two pumps give just the right amount of product for my whole face.

I apply this serum in the mornings and the evenings after washing my face and before moisturizer or sunscreen. Most days I find that I do not even need an additional moisturizer after applying this serum! I find that the serum is non-greasy. The serum itself feels like a gel-type moisturizer. It absorbs fast and does not leave me looking shiny nor do I feel a residue. The serum has a unique scent. It took me awhile to place it at first. Then it hit me. The smell reminds me of self-tanner! No, it is not as strong as the self-tanning smell; but, it is similar.
I found that this serum has the immediate result of helping to smooth out and plump my skin by keeping it more hydrated. I really did not need an additional moisturizer with this product. However, I always follow it with sunscreen in the morning. I feel like my makeup applies better over this product because my skin is so smoothed out.
After using this product for 4 weeks, I really noticed a great improvement in the appearance of my pores! They are much less noticeable overall. It is like my pore size shrunk. I am quite impressed! Since I do not currently have wrinkles, I can't determine if this product helps with wrinkle reduction. However, my fine lines look smoothed out near my eye area. So, I am happy with that result. Also, my skin's texture feels very soft and smooth.

I am so pleased with the overall results that I got with this Power Serum for Wrinkles from StriVectin! Not only is my skin looking and feeling more smooth and plump, but also my pores are much less noticeable. As a skincare testing beauty blogger, I must move on to other product testing.
