Here is my thinking: When you use a metallic shade on your nails, you truly turn your nails into an accessory! I got longer than my usual 3-4 days of wear with these polishes! I get about 5 good days with only minor tip wear.

Pregnancy Skincare Favorites from Belli

As I am at the end of my pregnancy, what better time to share some of my most-loved pregnancy skincare products from one of my favorite go-to pregnancy skincare brands: Belli Skincare! Belli specializes in both facial and body skincare for women who are trying to conceive, who are pregnant, and skincare for the new mom post-baby as well as skincare for baby, too! Now, I have not tried the whole line. Mostly, I have just explored the pregnancy skincare range. So, that will be my focus today. :)

Belli Skincare knows that pregnancy can cause drastic changes in your skin. Not only has my skin type changed with pregnancy, but also I am so limited with how to deal with my skin as many of my go-to skincare products have no-no ingredients for pregnancy! Ack! It takes the guesswork and worry out of trying to choose safe skincare while you are pregnant. Plus, the products are effective!!! 

Pregnancy causes my normal-dry skin to become combo-oily. When I am not pregnant, I rarely breakout. However, when I am pregnant, I battle breakouts frequently. It is so frustrating! Typically during the first part of my pregnancy (this pregnancy and my last pregnancy), I am still using my usual skincare products. Once my skin starts getting hard to deal with, I switch to pregnancy skincare. After going through this twice, I think next time (wink: if we try for baby #3??? Who knows!!!), I will start pregnancy skincare when trying to conceive. I was getting constant breakouts and was having a hard time dealing with the oily skin. After a few weeks of using Belli, my skin really calmed down! My breakouts became easier to manage and my oily skin felt refreshed from using the Belli cleanser and scrub!

Nothing beats a good serum. To me, serums are one of the most crucial steps in my skincare routine. Depending on what state my combo skin is in on the combo-dry-oily spectrum, sometimes my serums even double as my moisturizer! So, my essential skincare routine is to cleanse and then apply a serum. Since I am dealing with dry/damaged hair (from Highlighting and Blow-Drying), I choose the Repair Essentials Kit to try out. Plus, it all comes in this cute little white clutch! Very "gifty"!

Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Shampoo and Conditioner: 

Moroccanoil's Moisture Repair Shampoo and Conditioner set is just what I need: gentle cleansing with serious moisture! I love the super thick and rich feel of these products. For me, it is always a good sign when a shampoo or conditioner is ultra thick and rich. My hair is so dry that the heavier and richer a product is, the better! This shampoo cleanses my hair completely without leaving it feeling dry. My hair is easy to manage afterwards with ease of combing (a feat, I tell you!) and decreased frizz. Now, my hair is super thick. So, I did not have any trouble with these products weighing my hair down. However, if your hair is very fine, then these products could possibly weigh down your hair. I love how nourished and moisturized my hair feels after using this shampoo and conditioner set. Plus, the lather is great and I love the scent, too! 

Moroccanoil Treatment:

If you were to only try one product from this brand, the Moroccanoil Treatment would be the thing to try! I can see why this treatment has such a cult following! It is amazing!!! It is pretty much a miracle in a bottle. Plus, it seems to be the single product that started this whole "Moroccan Oil/Argan Oil" craze! I mean, have you noticed how almost every hair care line now has "Argan Oil" formulas? Well, it all started with this product from Moroccanoil! This buzz-starting product is an amazing hair oil. It really is all you need for extra conditioning, shine, and styling. The oil has a unique and almost gel/serum-like texture. Just a few drops of this magical oil smooths my hair, reduces frizz, and adds incredible shine and manageability. It is infused with antioxidant-rich argan oil and vitamins. To use, I smooth a couple drops into my hair when it is towel-dried. I focus on the ends and work up towards my ear. After my hair is dry, my finial step is to add another "touch" of this oil to my hair (I literally just dab a tiny bit on my finger) and then distribute it throughout my hair for finishing shine. Yes, this product is on the expensive side at $43 for a 3 oz bottle. So, getting this Holiday Kit is a great deal! You get the amazing Moroccanoil Treatment...plus Shampoo and Conditioner! :) 

Have you jumped onto the Moroccanoil/Argan Oil bandwagon yet? I have tried other brand's versions of Argan/Moroccanoil hair care lines and I must say, I think that Moroccanoil's original treatment and the Repair Shampoo and Conditioner are amongst the best Argan products that I have tried! I totally recommend this line to anyone with dry/damaged hair that is in need of moisture and shine.

My Holiday Shopping 2013 Gift Guide continues! This time I am going to share with you some of my favorite items from LUSH's Holiday 2013 lineup!!! 

As ya'll know, I love me some LUSH! ;) Not only are these items great for the bath-lovers in your life, but also they are just all-around cute gifts! I know that if you walked into a LUSH store you would not be able to resist these cute bath and gift items! More than anything, LUSH products are a completely sensory experience. The intoxicating scents...the vivid colors...you will be absolutely enveloped in these bath products!

There are many ways that you could either combine the LUSH seasonal products for gifts or give them individually. LUSH is unique: they do not package most of their products. The bath bombs, soaps, bubble bars, etc are stacked out on display in their stores. The actual products are so decorative and cute...you wouldn't want to package them! For gifting, I would recommend getting plain clear cellophane bags. That way you can see the product in all of its festive glory. Just add a bow and a gift tag! Give them individually when you need that perfect "under $10/$15" type gift. Or combine a few for a bigger gift.
