Kenra is a brand that I have trusted over the years to pamper my hair when it is in need of some serious TLC. So, I was quite curious to try out their Kenra's Platinum Dry Shampoo!
So, how does Kenra's dry shampoo compare? Keep reading to find out!
Unlike other dry shampoos that I have tried, Kenra's is invisible!!!
That is right, no white residue. Note: I have blonde hair. So, I am not sure if this is invisible on darker hair. Actually, the Kenra Platinum Dry Shampoo sprays on totally clear. Honestly, I am amazed. I really thought that the white residue was just a "given" with dry shampoos. I stand corrected!
How I Use:
To use, I shake the can very well and then I spray it generously to my root area (keeping the can about 6 inches from my head). Then I rake my fingers through my scalp area to distribute. The product dries quickly and my hair feels and smells refreshed. The process of application and the product itself gives great volume! Typically I use this product on days 2-3 after a shampooing with water.
The Scent:
OMG, this Kenra Dry Shampoo smells A-Ma-Zing!!! It reminds me of pineapples and coconut and all things tropical!
Retail Prices: $9.00 for 1.5 oz and $22.00 for 5 oz.
I love that dry shampoos like this one by Kenra allow me to go 3 days in-between hair washing! We all know that the fewer times you wash your hair the better as frequent washings/stylings can cause cumulative damage to your hair. So, save your hair a bit and try dry shampoo! This one by Kenra smells great, freshens your hair, gives great volume, and allows more days in-between hair washings. What a go-to item! Love it!
With that said, I give this product my "Pammy Stamp of Approval"!!! Yes, this is something new on PBB! Whenever I really really love a product or if I think that a product has "Holy Grail" potential, then I will apply my "Pammy Stamp of Approval" at the end of my post! I won't always explain this. Just know to look for this stamp in the future!!! :)
So, here it is:
