Charcoal beauty products have been all the rage recently. They are cropping up everywhere! From cleansers, bar soap, to toners, bath soaks, and more! I have encorporated quite a few charcoal products into my daily routine. I must admit that I am liking the charcoal trend. So, I’m super excited that Colgate just launched the NEW Colgate Essentials Toothpaste with Charcoal. This toothpaste is fantastic for removing stains and impurities for whiter teeth and fresher breath. This trending toothpaste also has micropolishers to keep your pearly whites glistening and your breath minty fresh.

Charcoal as a tooth-cleansing ingredient is actually not a new thing! You can trace charcoal's use as a tooth-cleansing ingredient as far back as the Romans. Recently, there has been a resurgance in using Charcoal for dental care because of the whitening, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and breath-freshening abilities of charcoal. 

Colgate Essentials Daily Toothbrush + Toothpaste Kit with Charcoal:

I must admit, while I was excited to try this toothpaste and toothbrush, it was a bit shocking to put blackish-gray toothpaste on my black toothbrush! I am so used to white! 

However, I quickly got over my hesitation because of the color. This toothpaste feels gentle tastes refreshing and gets my teeth nicely clean. The toothpaste contains micropolishers to remove stains and a mint flavor to freshen breath. The toothbrush has charcoal infused tapered bristles which gives deep and gentle cleaning to your teeth and gums. Plus, this is a fluoride toothpaste (not all charcoal toothpastes contain fluoride). 

Overall, the new Charcoal Toothpaste and Toothbrush from Colgate is a big win for me! I am really enjoying using this set!

I am not kidding when I say that this toothbrush has totally revolutionized my oral care routine. This is literally the coolest and most high-tech toothbrush I have ever used. It has blue tooth technology and it syncs with your phone which aligns with a motion detection video sensor with a phone app to track your brushing. This technology helps you get the most out of your brushing and really gives you some good feedback. It actually tracks your brushing via video through the app while you are actually brushing. I am not only excited about it for myself, but also think that these are great for the whole family! My husband is using one, too, and he loves it. I am thinking that my kids are going to need to get Oral-B GENIUS toothbrushes soon, too!

However, I must say, it really does more than any other brush that I have tried because of the blue tooth technology with the app. You are really getting a customized experience when using this brush. Also, you get a lot of extras in the box. So, it is pricey...but, also it is worth it. 

Overall, I am thrilled with the Oral-B GENIUS and it is my current choice for my evening brushing routine. I love the unique and personalized feedback that I get with the brush and the Oral-B App. If you are looking for a new toothbrush, you MUST check this one out. I just love mine!!!
