It is that time of year...Summer is at its peak and it is time to turn our thoughts towards Fall! What better way to anticipate the upcoming change of season with looking to the Summer-release Fall makeup collections! This new "Sensual Reflections" Colour Story from Laura Mercier is a beautiful way to update your color assortment for Fall! The colors are lovely with a particular focus on tempting, colorful, and seductive eyes paired with bold brick red lips.

From the "Sensual Reflections" Colour Story, I tried out the new Limited Edition Cheek Mélange, Limited Edition Faux Lash Mascara in Sierra Brown, and the Satin Matte Eye Colour in Sensual Pink. To find out more details about these products (including photos, swatches, and my review), please click "read more" below! :)

Laura Mercier Cheek Mélange: Limited Edition:
Cheek Mélange features hand-selected, complementary shades to add natural, glowing colour to cheeks. It provides natural radiance to complexion and is designed to complement all skin tones.

This is such a uniquely pretty blush! Not only is it beautiful in the pan, but also it is gorgeous on the cheeks. The shade is hard to describe...On my super fair skin, it goes on looking like a super sheer and shimmery iridescent pink. It almost gives a highlighted effect. While it is hard to describe, it sure does look beautiful! It just gives a lovely and soft glowy look to your cheeks. Retails for $42.00.

Faux Lash Mascara in Sierra Brown: Limited Edition Shade:
Laura created Faux Lash Mascara to give real lashes extreme volume and length for intense exaggeration and drama The formula is extra-smooth, glossy and good-for-lashes, created with a blend of waxes and absolutely no fibers. Build rich, exaggerated lashes that are extraordinarily thick, super-shiny and conditioned.

Can you believe that this is actually my first time trying out a Laura Mercier mascara??? I know, I can't either, lol! Well, "Faux Lash" is certainly a well-picked name for this mascara. It truly does give your lashes so much volume and length that they almost look fake! My lashes are naturally very skimpy short and sparse. So, a mascara like this works wonders for me. Seriously, I am thrilled with the beautiful lengthening and thickening. The brush is a classic spoolie that is rather large. It combs and separates my lashes well. Plus, the Sierra Brown color is such a beautiful brown! As a fair skinned blonde, I know that I really should be using Brown mascaras and liners more as the effect is much more natural. While I love the look of my lashes with this mascara, I must note, I do have some issues with it transferring under my eye and smudging as the day goes on. I am just getting over a sinus infection and have had very watery eyes. So, this might be the root cause of the smudging. I love the effect so much that the smudging has not deterred me from continuing to use this mascara. Retails for $24.00.
Satin Matte Eye Colour in Sensual Pink: Limited Edition:
Laura Mercier Satin Matte Eye Colour is a highly-pigmented eye shadow with a creamy texture that applies effortlessly with a multi-dimensional matte finish. Long-wearing formula provides rich colour payoff without dusting. I tried out the Satin Matte Eye Colour in Sensual pink which is a soft and light iridescent pink shade. Much like the Cheek Mélange blush, the effect is very much like an iridescent shimmery highlight. I like to use this color on the lid or all over as a sheer wash of color. Retails for $24.00.

What a gorgeous collection from Laura Mercier! The items that I tried are all very soft and beautiful. I especially love the Cheek Mélange. Even as a blush-addict, I feel that the Cheek Mélange is a totally unique addition to my makeup collection. I truly have nothing else like it! What items are you curious to try? Be sure to check out this collection in late July/early August when it is available!

XOXO!!!
